Goslar lies at the foot of the Harz mountains and all tourist attractions are within easy walking distance; It is just 200 meters to the historic market square, many shops, attractions, international restaurants, churches and museums. The picture book city is a labyrinth of cobbled streets with colorful little houses, taken from the time but all maintained to a high standard. In the lower half of our house there are 1 double room, (with double bed), another bedroom for 3 persons (with 3 single beds), living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen and a dressing room. Upstairs there are 3 more bedrooms (2 with double beds and a single), separate toilet, separate shower and a TV room, \* Please note: In order to save our guests costs, the prices quoted by us are exclusive of bed linen and towels, which can be reserved separately. When not reserving, please do not forget to bring your own bed linen and towels. Besonders gefallen hat uns die sehr zentrale Lage, der sonnige, voll eingezäunte Garten und die Waschbecken in 4 Schlafzimmern. Die Küche ist zwar klein und Durchgangszimmer zum Garten, dafür umfangreich ausgestattet. Der Esstisch wäre für 9 Personen zu klein gewesen, um gemütlich zu essen, auf Anfrage hatten wir einen Beistelltisch bekommen. Nachdem das Sofa am ersten Abend zusammenbrach bekamen wir nach 2 Tagen ein neues.Insgesamt muss man für das urige Flair ein paar Abstriche machen: Die Installationen und einiges vom Inventar sind in die Jahre gekommen, es gibt einige Stopperfallen und die Kopf-Freiheit ist in einem Doppelzimmer und im Dusch/Toilettenbereich oben stark eingeschränkt. Het was een unieke ervaring om in een Middeleeuws huis te verblijven middenin de prachtige stad Goslar met zoveel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand! Bij mooi weer konden we heerlijk in de tuin zitten. Al waren de stoelen niet erg comfortabel. Wel is er op een heel aantal punten onderhoud nodig in en aan de woning. (Loshangende haken, gordijnrails en plinten. Schilderwerk) Het pad door de tuin naar de deur was erg kapot en moeilijk over te lopen. Das Haus hat wirklich ausreichend Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Die Zimmer und die Einrichtung sind nicht in einem modernen Stil, sondern entsprechend einem alten Fachwerkhaus,aber wirklich okay. Die Bäder sind sauber und geräumig, aber auch nicht sehr modern. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt und werden da sicherlich nochmal drauf zurückkommen . Jedoch waren einige Tassen nicht richtig sauber. Für mehr als 6 Erwachsene wird es am Esstisch sehr eng. Wir hatten trotzdem viel Spass und werden bei passender Anzahl an Menschen wieder kommen.
