Set in the idyllic town of Intercourse, this warm, spacious vacation rental has plenty of room for large groups and families. Find the freedom and space you need to make your get-away a great one.
You'll find all the comforts of home at the Country Nest! The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal for the whole family. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. There is a sitting room right inside the door, as well as a large living room to fit the whole group, equipped with a large TV (Netflix included )Games and puzzles are provided for a relaxing night in. The front porch is a great place to relax with a cup of joe and watch horse-and-buggies trot by. The small, private backyard allows space for outside activities, fire pit and charcoal grill available for use.

Great home and location!
Property was well maintained, decently supplied, and very comfortable. We especially loved the kitchen, beds, bathrooms and lots of seating. Its location was perfect for our quilting getaway. We could walk to town and it was central to Lancaster places of interest. We would consider staying here again.

Perfect in Every Way!!
My daughter & I (originally from Lancaster Co) were hosting 4 of our Bible study friends from FL for a week. This place met all of our needs perfectly!!! Attention to detail from kitchen appliances, dishes, etc to towels in baskets in each bedroom & bathroom, to plenty of seating around the dining table AND in the living room, to a very thoughtfully equipped coffee station, to plenty of beds & bathrooms, to comfortable front porch furniture & fire pit chairs and so much more!!!! We added a new jigsaw puzzle to the already well-stocked game shelves, & we enjoyed the large tv that we were grateful had all the networks & connections we could possibly need. Much thought has obviously been put into decorating & equipping this place, & everything was in great condition. Absolutely the BEST place we've ever rented!! And it got a unanimous thumbs-up from all 6 of the seasoned travelers in our group.

Enjoyable stay
Enjoyed our stay at Country Nest. The house was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the host Juana was very responsive. The house is close to Dutch Wonderland and Strasberg railroad. Also minutes from Kitchen Kettle Village though we drove rather than walked because it’s located on a very busy road. We enjoyed seeing the multiple horse and buggies passing by the kitchen window!

Wonderful Nest for Amish Country
We do so loved our stay at the “Nest”. Perfect location to everything in Amish country. Wonderful front porch sitting watching traffic and buggies abound. House has a great yard, fantastic layout and ample parking. It was clean, well supplied, and had plenty of everything. We will definitely book here again if we come back. The only fyi I would give other renters is if you’re a light sleeper bring a noise machine. The house is on a busy road and traffic can be noisy. Didn’t bother us but just FYI.

Great Girls Weekend!
My daughter's volleyball team had a tournament at Spooky Nook, we rented this house for a mother-daughter weekend. There were 7 of us, we had such a great time. The house was perfect!!

Great rental!
We had a great stay at the Country Nest! The house was very clean, comfortable, stocked with everything we needed, and cutely decorated! The owner was great- responding to a minor issue promptly! The location was perfect for our visit to the Amish country, including our visit to the Sight and Sound theater (which I HIGHLY recommend) and for our side trips to Hershey, Gettysburg and Philadelphia. If you are planning a visit to the Lancaster area, I highly recommend this rental!

Ran out of paper towels and toilet paper while there. We went to the store and bought the items ourselves. Never met the host and never got any fresh eggs either.
