Situation In a small hamlet a few kilometers from Gordes, 40 kilometers from Avignon (TGV), 70 kilometers from Marseille Provence airport and Aix en Provence. Designation This lovely house with a living area of ​​150 m2 can accommodate 6 people. The home was beautifully furnished. It also was one of the cleanest VRBO properties I've ever stayed in. It had wonderful amenities. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The beds and bedrooms were nice. The kitchen had everything you would need except knives for chopping. The patio had great furniture and the pool was clean and well kept. I would not stay in this home with young children as the stairway is open... no railing / banister. Also, the house does not have air conditioning. It did get very warm while we were there in July. They had furnished each bedroom with a fan, but the fan in my room stopped working the last two nights we were there. Although we contacted the property manager three times and he promised to bring by a new fan, it never happened. So I spent two nights in a very warm bedroom. This is the only negative comment I have about our stay. Overall I rate the quality of the home a five star. I would have liked to see a more responsive property management. ##### amanda h. Perfect for a smaller group. We first stayed in 2016 and we loved the charm of the house, the location, and proximity to our favorite villages. While we have returned to Provence several times since in a group of 8, this time when planning for a smaller group we were thrilled to find this home was still available. Communication was quick. The house is nicely decorated and clean. We appreciated the little touches such as two hairdryers, new soaps in all bathrooms, and a bottle of wine. Gustave is attentive and communicative. We enjoyed morning runs to the boulangerie, days exploring villages, and evenings with the pool and a nice bottle of wine, cheese, and relaxation. Elle est située dans un hameau dans la vallée au pied de Gordes (pour les joggers , belles sorties à faire dans la campagne avec des points de vue magnifiques sur Gordes). Nous avons pu facilement rayonner dans toute la région au gré de nos visites. Nos enfants de 8 et 6 ans ont pleinement profité de la piscine (ils ne voulaient pas repartir, gage d'un séjour réussi) ....et ont pris plaisirs à la cueillette des framboises, mûres, ciboulette, thym situés au fond du jardin. The house is beautifully presented and very comfortable. We loved sitting by the pool in the afternoon, enjoying the lovely garden. Eating out nearby at La ferns de la Huppe and la Triquette in Gordes were also highlights. The only criticism would be that this is not a house for small children as the stairs are a little dangerous. Six adults never felt crowded, and had plenty of private space. Dinner next door on the patio at La Ferme de la Huppe was delightful. We frequented the patisseries and potagers in Gordes for groceries and cooked many meals at home in the fabulous kitchen or on the bar-b-q. The outdoor space was always in use. We took a ride on the Sun-e-bikes from Bonnieux, which was a very fun day trip, also enjoyed kayaking from Kayak Vert in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The rest of the trip was just relaxing day trips, moderate sightseeing (the bories and Senanque Abbaye), and enjoying fabulous weather with great friends. Magnifique maison d'hameau au coeur du Lubéron. Le jardin paysagé et la piscine amènent au calme assuré. La décoration intérieure de très bon goût offre des prestations de très belles qualités. Prestations de grande qualité: - 3 chambres spacieuses disposant chacune de leur salle d'eau et de leur toilettes - Pièce à vivre spacieuse, très claire, ouverte sur le jardin - Terrasse ombragée bien orientée pour en profiter à tout moment de la journée - Piscine (pas encore assez chaude en mai...). La décoration est soignée, harmonieuse et incite à la détente. Tous les équipements sont récents et de qualité (cuisine, literie, vaisselle, linge). En bref, un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer tout en étant à proximité de nombreux villages de charme du Lubéron et de leurs marchés! Le petit plus : un petit coin de jardin, destiné aux herbes aromatiques, est à notre disposition pendant le séjour! ##### catherine b. ---
