We had an apartment (as that’s all that was left) which was nice and large with everything you need for a longer stay even though we were only there one night. Would be great for a family. The back door opened to a lovely open space. The apartment was very clean, the bed comfy and was nice and quiet. They also did a takeaway chinease which was nice and convenient. Best motel I’ve stayed in so far on our road trip.

I was greeted at reception by two very friendly jack russells, a short walk down the veranda bought us to our basic room. 5 quite steep steps down to where we parked our car, which is under cover and outside our room.
There is a pub that serves food just minutes walk up the road or a RSL across the road.
Free toiletries, a fridge, a microwave, kettle and crockery were all provided along with towels. A friendly cat is also in residence along with a cacophony of wild birds.

Owners were easy to get along with and helpful. The room had a microwave, fridge, kettle, tea coffee etc, biscuits fresh milk. You could also get a single tea or coffee or full meal made fresh by the owners. Some rooms had a garden which were 10 dollars Night extra. There was a free bus to the City Golf Club where drinks and meals were good and cheap, ( even less if you were a member, we joined for 2 dollars.) Shops were 15 mins walk away. Cobb & Co museum 1/2 hr walk away. Town also about 1/2...

The only complaint was the lack of a lift or ramp to take cases up and down from the first floor. It is a longish walk into the centre of Toowoomba but a bus service available till early evening across the road.

Good hotel, a little out of the centre so disappointing that the restaurant was not open on Sunday night. The pub across the road was average at best
Meal in hotel on second night much better
Seemed to be occupied by business men
