The staff was kind and helpful, the housekeeping crew was excellent. Rooms are not silent (doors slam) and the breakfast wasn’t great. Airport shuttle was helpful and on time. Overall decent stay for the money.

Horrible. The hotel was not as I expected it to be. Pictures certainly do not match reality. There was dust around vents. No phone to communicate with the front desk in case of an emergency. The shower faucet kept falling on our heads. Water pressure was weak. The hair dryer was not universal. There’s no laundry service unlike described. The beach chairs and umbrellas are also a surcharge BUT not described in the booking. The only great thing about this hotel is the cleaning personnel. On top of that they asked you to paid at front for the whole stay and we needed up leaving the hotel three days before the original date.

A nice hotel to enjoy Golfo Aranci
It's a very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. It's right next to the beach and a short walk from the town center.

This was my second stay at Hotel Castello. I originally chose this location because of its proximity to the beach and shallow bay. I returned for the friendly staff, who remembered me even after 3 years had passed! This hotel provides all of the basics for a pleasant stay. The staff helped me organize a trip to Tavolara island with a local boat captain. It was an experience to remember. A special thanks to owner Gina, who will help you with any of your needs! Easy beach access. Good parking. Helpful friendly staff. All the room lacked was a kettle for that evening drink. Access to the shower was a bit narrow but a good shower in itself.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast always plentyful, but limited in choice of fresh fruit. Rooms and Hotel itself was clean, but air-conditioning not really efficient enough. We were surprised about the rule of having to use a swim cap in the pool and that there weren‘t any sun lounger around the pool. You can only use the hotels private beach if you hire a sun lounger. If you don‘t want to do that, you will have to fight for a space on the public part of the beach.

Fantastic little hotel right on the beach. We went in the first week of June and the town was quiet and peaceful. If you can afford it, it's definitely worth the extra cost to get a room with a sea view. Staff are so friendly and helpful from the cleaning staff to the manageress. Room was spotless. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Designated area of the beach was clean and had ample sun beds and umbrellas. Our only gripe was the rather weak air conditioning unit. Little more than a fan really and we couldn't sleep with the windows open due to mosquitoes. Otherwise, a perfect hotel.

Excellent service
We stayed as a couple for 9 days in Hotel Castello and the service was amazing thanks to Mrs Gina. We have booked a room with a sea view and I can say that it was well worth it. The view is splendid. The rooms are of a decent size but the shower is a bit tight. The Wi-Fi worked very well in the hotel and on the beach. For the beach we had reserved the chairs and parasol (20E/per day) ahead of time as well as the towels (3E/towel). The beach is not too large but the sand is white and the water crystal clear and not very deep for a long distance. Mrs Gina gave us good recommandations for restaurants and tours. Mrs Gina is a very pleasant person and takes care of her clients with always a smile.

Sea view rooms are beautiful and make your holiday
This hotel was lovely. On arrival, the receptionist offered me a cheap upgrade to a sea view room which was stunning and made the balcony lovely. The plugs in Sardinia were also different and they were able to offer me adapters. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, the free wifi is great and works on the beach too and the local area has a lot of good food and drink plus excursions which is brilliant. I really enjoyed my time here and would go back without hesitation.

Great little hotel in ideal location
Excellent staff - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and some great places to eat and drink within 5 - 10 minutes walk. Lovely sea front location - clean beach and wonderful clear water. Would highly recommend

Great location by beach - basic hotel
We had a sea view room - well worth it. The staff were very friendly. Rooms are basic (which is what we expected for the low price) and comfortable. Shower could have been cleaner - definitely needed some TLC. Breakfast was basic but not too bad - again for the price of the stay it was as to be expected. Would stay again and definitely get a sea view room again as is worth it!

Good Value Hotel
Good value hotel in Golfo Aranci. Great base for exploring the Smrelda coastline. The Hotel is a litle dated but clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is very large and the beach out the front is decent for a swim.

Basic Hotel on a very nice beach
The hotel is at best a basic 3* hotel, with hard beds. It is situated on a lovely beach and is surprisingly quiet as it is also on a main road next to a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the manageress was extremely helpful. If you like firm beds and are happy with a basic 3* hotel, this is the one to go for. You have to pay for the beach towels and the sun beds (which have individual sun shades), but it is worth paying the extra

The hotel is located right on the beach. Golfo Aranchi is a great place. The beach is clean, and the room has a great view of the sea. Breakfast was okay.

Vi var väl bemötta av personalen. Stranden är nära och utmärkt vatten kvalitet. Inte långt till centrum. Rekommenderar restaurangen Lanterna några minuter från hotellet. Vi gillade inte buller från näraliggande hotell Gabbiani. Vi gillade inte heller soppor som låg mellan hotellet och stranden, nära strandrestaurangen. Själva hotellet behöver en facelift men är värd priset.

Solendida posizione ma troppo trascurato
avevo soggiornato in questo hotel diversi anni fa trovandolo carino ma un po' dimesso. Ecco non è cambiato nulla in 15 anni. Camera quadrupla con splendida vista sul mare ma lettino a castello con ruote ridicolo per due ragazzi. Piscina abbandonata a se stessa e impraticabile. Ok il covid mal'estetica..... Sala colazione vecchia, con condizionatori vecchissimi che perdevano acqua in sala nonostante il catino di plastica messo sotto il motore. Colazione buona e personale gentilissimo soprattutto alla reception ma non basta. Peccato basterebbe cosi poco per migliorare le cose. Non credo ci ritornerò soprattutto perché per prezzo( non economico ) richiesto un città si trova di meglio

Gentile Sig.ra Elena, siamo stati avvisati solo il giorno prima dell'arrivo che la sua camera tripla non era sufficiente perchè in realtà i ragazzi erano 2 e non 1 come da prenotazione. Ad agosto non è facile all'ultimo momento trovare altre soluzioni e perciò vi abbiamo assegnato una camera quadrupla che ha il letto a castello richiudibile e quindi più adatto a famiglie con i bambini magari più piccoli. Vorrei puntualizzare che la piscina " NON E' dell'Hotel Castello", infatti non è certo menzionata nei nostri servizi. E' di proprietà del condominio affianco che quest'anno ha deciso di tenerla chiusa e abbandonata. Faccio tesoro dei suoi consigli e voglio rassicurarla sui nostri propositi per migliorarci. Mi auguro che ci possano essere altre occasioni per farle apprezzare i nostri servizi che per una sola notta non ha avuto modo di utilizzare. Cordiali saluti. Gina

Très bon sejour en bord de plage
Très bon séjour de 3 jours à l'hôtel Castello. La vue mer de la chambre est magnifique avec le golfe et l'île de Tavolara. Très bon petit dejeuner mais les jus de fruits ne sont pas très bons comme souvent en Sardaigne. Le plus accès direct a la plage, le moins la piscine qui n’est pas opérationnelle.

Quant à la piscine, elle n'est pas mentionnée dans nos services car elle n'appartient pas à l'hôtel mais à la résidence voisine qui, cependant, ne l'utilise pas.

Toller Meerblick. Direkt am Strand, hingegen ist das Zentrum recht weit, zumindest zu Fuss. Die Landschaft ist schön, der Ort ohne viel Charme. Zimmer klein, vor allem Badezimmer (Dusche!). Im 1. Stock gehen Zimmer auf allgemeine Terrasse, daher besser 2. oder 3. Stock. Frühstück sehr bescheiden, aber ok. Pool ist schön, aber Badehaubenpflicht, und keinerlei Liegen, Sonnenschirme etc., daher unbrauchbar. Hotelstrand ok, aber 2 Liegen+Sonnenschirm kosten 30 Euro pro Tag, das ist zu viel. Das Meer ist übrigens das flachste, das ich je gesehen habe. Man geht minutenlang vorwärts, und hat noch immer nur Wasser bis zur Hüfte... also eher für Kinder (deren gibt es sehr viele!) als für Schwimmer.

Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hôtel - Pour ceux à qui le Petit Déjeuner est important, vous serez très déçus, pas variés et pas de top qualité - Aucune isolation des chambres - Hotel très bruyant - Prestation très moyenne - Cabine de douche très étroite, pas pratique 2 points positifs: - Chambre très propre, merci aux femmes de ménage ! - Très belles plage à proximité

Situation magnifique au bord de la mer. Piscine sous le balcon mais on ne peut pas y aller. On a pas été averti et on s’est fait clairement dire qu’on devait partir. Déjeuner excellent avec jus d’orange frais et excellent café. Chambre simple, moyennement confortable. Un lit à étage pour les enfants sans barrière !

Für ein 3* Hotel ist es gut. Strand vor dem Hotel, A/C, Kühlschrank, Personal ist hilfreich. Konnte check in sehr früh morgen kostenloss. Frühstück nicht abwechslungsreich. Sonnenschirm und Liegestühl 30€ pro Tag sogar für Hotelgäste am offentlichen Strand - nicht akzeptable. Man kann eigene beim Chinesen an der Ecke kaufen. Sehr viel kleine Kinder am Strand.

Excellent accueil par toute l'équipe de l'hôtel qui cherche à faire passeur très agréable moment à ces hôtes. Vue du 3ème étage à couper le souffle, digne d'un 5 étoiles. Excellent emplacement avec plage magnifique au pied de l'hôtel et service de plage possible, très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux et correct. Consommation bon marché. Seule amélioration : isolation phonique des chambres si voisins bruyants. A recommander. Merci Gina et son équipe !
