"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the location of the hotel was perfect, and the continental breakfast was just right. My only two complaints: (1) although the bed was very comfy, the couch and sitting wing-back chairs were very uncomfortable; (2) the bathroom had one of those OBNOXIOUS barn doors, guaranteeing zero privacy for anyone sharing a room. Otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay!"

"location is great. It's right next to Mortensens Bakery and you can walk the whole town of Solvang. 10 minute drive to Chumash casino. the staff in kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the loft unit we got was cute as was the grounds. I would definitely stay here again."

"We booked this room 20 minutes before we arrived and what an AMAZING stay we had for such a last minute booking. Another local hotel had mistakenly canceled our reservation and we were in something of a bind as our friends were staying at this other hotel. We needed something local and this was a block away. The staff was so friendly! Our room was clean and beautiful (the color drenching was an excellent touch). Our bed was so comfortable. And the location was just perfect. Our friends were jealous and wish they had also booked here, the original hotel (the same price point) was not nearly as nice. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!"

"Rooms are modern and clean. They all have microwaves and a full sized refrigerator, both of which actually work. The staff we met are personable and down to earth. Our flight from Santa Barbara was delayed for 3 hours and the front desk staff did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome waiting in their lobby (despite checking out). Overall a very good and comforting experience."
