Such a great deal! Great price for an incredible view of the mountains, and everything you would need in a mini kitchenette for a couple nights. Loved the hot tub with a view of the resort. Only complaint was the pillows are awful, and the curtains are too low and cause the sun to rise right into your room since there is a foot of open space at the top
Great communication and nice location with fantastic views from the balcony. The property was dated but we really appreciated the quality linens and provision of laundry detergent, etc
Only thing was the bed and pillows were very hard and made sleeping very difficult. Otherwise the suite was fantastic and the bathtub is larger with a separate shower. Basically the ideal one bedroom apartment for anyone. Just very poor sleeping after hiking. Would still recommend.

Location was excellent at the base of the Kicking Horse Mountain. Short trip from Golden. No Guest services for checking-in, so a little trouble getting clear direction with all information required with room number and door codes. Confusing and hard finding the proper phone number for assistance. I booked using Expedia and might have been the problem. Once resolved though, the stay was great!
Good room but a bit on the small side. Steps away from ski lifts. Restaurant nearby. Underground garage is a plus

place is under renovation, elevator is not working our blinds got stuck. But the views of the mountains are gorgeous. Good supplies of kitchen appliances and all working. Complete supplies of cutlery and utensils. Good choice of coffee. The hot tub is working perfectly
Because our stay was during the summer there was no staff around and the building's elevator was not functioning. Hauling our luggage to the second/third floor was not a pleasant experience, but a minor irritation.
Finding the stairwell to the floor we needed was a bit of an exercise.
The room was comfortable and clean. It was quite warm outside, so the lack of air conditioning was a bit unfortunate. The breeze that carried in the storm that night was a sleep saver.
Overall the stay was a good one. The bed was comfortable and we had everything that we needed. We would stay again.

In our stay period, the elevator is out of service. Cooking ware is not enough.
Staffs are very friendly to answer all the questions.
Before staying at this resort, I extensively reviewed my options. It is a small rural area, so there are not a lot to choose from. Overall, I think this is the best one. I had read ahead of time that they did not have a check-in counter and it was a self check-in so I was prepared for that. It was late and I was tired when I got there so there were a few minutes of frustration to get the keypads on the doors to work, but I managed to get it done. I was checking in late on a weekday during the summer and I should’ve paid better attention to when all of the options for food closed. I ended up having to drive back into town to get dinner. I was pretty frustrated the first day but the rest of the weekend everything went smooth smoothly. My bed was very comfortable, the linens were clean. I appreciated the free parking. I came here for the golden ultra Trail races and I debated about staying in town but after seeing the hotels in town, I thought this one definitely looked better. I would stay here again if I come back to this race.

Staff was cooperative
Excellent mountains view
But elevator was not working
We were on 4th floor with stairs
No air conditioning
The dishes were most of the time not clean, so we cleaned what we used.
And the window above the window-door can’t be covered, which is not so nice when going to sleep.
For the rest the room was nice and cozy :)

The room itself is clean and liveable. But the apartment complex, amenities, not working elevator are very dreadful. The resort in the June has nothing working.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. we really enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were the check‑in process and the elevator being out of service. There was no front desk staff, and although we received our room codes by email, there was no parking information included. Carrying everything up the stairs wasn’t ideal, but the room itself made up for it.

In general, Kicking Horse is pretty worn. The Glacier Mountaineer Lodge is no exception. Kind of had a horror movie vibe. There was a heat wave and lots of wildfire smoke but no AC so opening the windows was dicey. Plus, the concessions played non/stop music really loud from early to late which was annoying. Especially since there were so few people out and about it seemed like the music was only for the staff - none of which appeared to be older than the mid-twenties. There are two places to eat at the “resort” and both were good. I was overcharged by about $50 and am still trying to get that settled after two weeks. The place may have a whole different feel in winter but I would not recommend it in the summer.
