Stunning views in the beachfront apartment we stayed in. Close to surfers but not too busy, located opposite a patrolled flagged section of the beach. This apartment is in desperate need to redecorating and repairing. The is a huge hole in the the worn out leather lounge, the walls and skirting boards are crumbly and in desperate need of paint and repair, there are tiles missing outside and the inside curtains have black mould on them and the Venetian blinds are dusty and rusty. We had the manager get the cleaner back in as the floors were still dirty and the windows were disgusting with hand and finger marks all over them just to name a few. This apartment is in an ideal location however it desperately needs money spent on it! The owner of this apartment must be greedy and stupid.. with all the other properties on the gold coast why would you expect people to stay here? We had to extend our stay due to flight issues but i couldnt wait to get home. Really on the beach - and nice walking distance to "downtown Surfers Paradise" so you are still a bit away from it all but can easily join in if you feel like it. Nice appartements, but ours didn't have that great kitchen utensils (only 1 frying pan, no sharp knives, limited number of plates etc) No big issue though. Only downside was very noisy from cars at all hours, not normal traffic, most likely young guys in loud vehicles who love to hear themselves echo off the buildings. Someone damaged my car in the underground car park and dented the back passenger door.
