Our detached holiday home with a beautiful garden and large terrace is located in the city as well as in the countryside, quiet and idyllic on a hill. The old town center can be reached on foot in a few minutes. In addition to the garden planted with love, there is a stilt house with a slide, a sandpit and two swings, a large wooden terrace and a parking lot on the enclosed property. The house was built in the 1950s and was extensively and comfortably renovated in 2014/2015 in a Mediterranean style with great attention to detail and completely clad in wood. It is approximately 80 square meters in size, with oak floors and handcrafted Portuguese tiles throughout. The windows on the lower floor are completely equipped with shutters, so that the house always has pleasant temperatures, even in hot summer. On the ground floor there is a living and dining area with a fireplace, as well as an open, fully equipped country house kitchen with stove and oven and dishwasher, as well as with comfortable underfloor heating. There are 6 chairs and a high chair in the dining area. In the living area there is a fireplace (wood is provided by us), a comfortable couch and a television as well as children's toys for different age groups, so that nobody gets bored even in bad weather. Also on the ground floor is a beautiful bathroom with a shower and double vanity and comfortable underfloor heating. Here, too, we placed emphasis on a cozy Mediterranean design and used handmade ornament tiles. A washing machine is also available. The beautiful large wooden terrace surrounds the house on two sides. You can reach them both through the terrace and through the front door. It is equipped with a table with eight chairs, two deck chairs, a parasol and a hammock. In summer, our olive trees and agaves contribute to a wonderful holiday feeling. Back on the ground floor you can reach the bedroom "La Mer" with glazed gallery, a double bed (160 x 200) with privacy screen (curtains and screen) and a single bed (80 x 200). The single bed is extendable to another double bed (160 x 200). In this room there is also a changing table for our smallest visitors. A door leads to the spacious bedroom "Provence" with a double bed (180 x 200), a single bed (90 x 200) and a nice spacious baby bed. The single bed is provided with a pull-out bed so that two people can also sleep here. Of course there is also WiFi throughout the house. Es ist bestens geeignet für kleine und große Familien. Man hat ausreichend Platz, es gibt einen schönen Spielplatz für die kleinen und auch im Haus eine große Auswahl an Spielzeug (z.b. Lego Duplo) aber auch Gesellschaftsspiele und Bücher. Es ist absolut ruhig und mit den Rollos und Fensterläden ist es auch im Sommer angenehm kühl und dunkel. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Decken waren für das sommerliche Wetter angenehm dünn. In der Küche gab es nichts, was wir vermisst haben. Die Spülmaschine ist bei mehreren Personen Gold wert. Es Gibt einen Kamin im Haus, welchen wir aber nicht benötigt haben. Küche und Bad haben eine Fußbodenheizung und sind in den kühlen Morgenstunden angenehm temperiert. Wer mit mehr als einem Auto kommt, kann das zweite etwas entfernt (ca. 100) kostenfrei abstellen. Der Weg bis in die Altstadt dauert keine 10 Minuten und geht durch das schöne Finstertor oder über den alten Friedhof, welcher wirklich sehr schön ist. ##### Benjamin L. Das Ferienhaus ist besonders gut für Familien mit kleineren Kindern geeignet. Es gibt eine Schaukel im Garten, die etwas versteckt liegt und deswegen sehr attraktiv ist und sehr viel schönes Spielzeug und auch eine sehr umfangreiche (Kinder-)Bücher-Sammlung. In die Stadt ist es nicht weit, man kann viele Gänge zu Fuß erledigen. Die Lage neben dem schönen Friedhof ist einmalig. Obwohl die Stadt ganz nah ist, ist das Haus sehr ruhig gelegen. Spiele, Bücher, Fahrzeuge, Baumhaus mit Rutsche - eine Menge an Beschäftigung (für eine große Altersspanne) gibt es vor Ort und wurde von unserem Sohn gut genutzt. Auch die beschauliche Altstadt oder der Bäcker ist schnell per Fuß zu erreichen. Unweit liegt zudem die Fußgängerbrücke zwischen Görlitz und Zgorzelec auf polnischer Seite. Sehr zu empfehlen für eine Familie mit jüngeren Kindern. Da wir mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern verreist sind, war für uns der einzige Nachteil, dass es nur einen abgetrennten Schlafbereich gab. ##### Karen N. Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und auch der Garten lädt zum Entspannen ein. Für die Kinder sind im Haus tolle Spielsachen und viele Bücher vorhanden. Der Garten mit Baumhaus, Sandkasten und Schaukel bietet auch viele Spielmöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man wohnt im Grünen und ist dennoch schnell zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Görlitz und Umgebung bietet viele Ausflugsziele. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist sehr angenehm. Für Familien und Kinder sehr gut und gemütlich. Viel Spielsachen vorhanden. Tolle Lage. Man muss nur wissen, dass das eine Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist und etwas eng. Das andere Schlafzimmer ist allerdings sehr grosszügig mit zusätzlichen Betten. Super für Eltern mit kleinen Kindern. Wir haben jedenfalls unseren Aufenthalt in dem Haus sehr genossen. Auch sehr nette Vermieter!
