Just 1.5 hours from Berlin or Rostock and 2 hours from Hamburg, our cosy 5-room Milena farmhouse is the perfect home away from home for your holiday. The holiday home accommodates 4 to 7 adults, plus 1 to 2 small children. Thanks to its size and garden, it’s ideal for larger families or for a holiday with a family of friends. Beachgoers, water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, cyclists, golfers, anglers, hikers, sauna lovers, and geocachers are all warmly welcome here and invited to enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet of the area.

The Schnitterhaus Milena is a historic house over 150 years old that has been completely renovated and modernised. Following a change in ownership, we extensively renovated and partially restored the holiday home in 2022. The historic charm, the tasteful, lovingly designed, family-friendly furnishings—consisting mainly of solid wood furniture—and the prime location near Lake Fleese in the heart of a magnificent holiday region promise relaxing and unforgettable holiday days all year round.

Milena Holiday Home on Lake Flee:

The Milena holiday home is a historic reaper’s cottage over 150 years old that has been completely renovated and furnished to a high standard. Our Milena was officially awarded 3 stars (***) by the German Tourism Association in 2025: “Cosy overall furnishings with good comfort.” It accommodates 4 to 7 adults and up to 2 small children. Spread over 100 m² across 2 floors, there are 5 living areas: a 24-square-meter living room with a new wood-burning stove, a modern open kitchen, and a dining table; a corner sofa; a smart flat-screen TV (with a DVD player and a selection of DVDs); and a smart stereo system (with Bluetooth, CD, radio, and USB). There is also a full bathroom with natural light and a shower, and a total of 4 separate bedrooms in the attic:

- turquoise room with 1 double bed (180x200 cm) and 1 baby cot (70x140 cm, up to 3 years)
- purple room with 1 double bed (180x200 cm)
- Green room with 2 single beds (90x200 cm each)
- Yellow room with 1 single bed (90x200 cm) & 1 children’s bed (70x160 cm, up to approx. 8 years)

All rooms are heated, and the bathroom even features a special highlight: an additional infrared panel heater for maximum comfort. The ground floor is finished with high-quality tile flooring, and the hardwood floors on the upper level ensure a pleasant indoor climate under the roof. The furnishings consist almost entirely of high-quality solid wood furniture. The Milena holiday home is complemented by a covered terrace with a beach chair and seating (offering morning and midday sun for cosy outdoor breakfasts), 2 private parking spaces at the house (additional free parking is a 5-minute walk away), and a fenced-in, green, sunny garden with seating, lounge chairs, a sandpit, a fire pit, a swing set, and bike racks (shared garden use with the Tamara holiday home next door). In the evening, the stone barbecue fireplace with an adjacent covered picnic arbor invites you to enjoy a barbecue. Our large “Taavi” barrel sauna is also located in the garden. Use of the sauna barrel is by arrangement with the Tamara holiday home next door. The barrel has a separate antechamber for changing and relaxing and a large sauna room with two long loungers.

In every season, Fleesensee—just 200 metres away—entices visitors with its beautiful sandy beach, large sunbathing areas and playgrounds, a separate dog beach, water sports activities, and the lovely beach promenade.

Amenities also include free Wi-Fi (with high-speed fiber-optic connection), a large washing machine, a hair dryer, a small dishwasher, an oven with a ceramic cooktop and range hood, a microwave, a fridge-freezer combo, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, high-quality dishes and cooking utensils, blackout curtains, cosy blankets and pillows, insect screens on some windows, a vacuum cleaner, a selection of games, and a book-sharing shelf.<
