"In am not even sure exactly how we found this place but I certainly am happy we did! What charm and beauty. I have never had an experience to stay in such a beautiful hotel. Every room had a charm of its own. Lots of antiques and beautiful furniture. Absolutely spotless. Bed was so comfortable and room was very quiet which is such a plus in my book. Nice hot shower, lots of towels. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Kate was amazing host. We will come back again and stay longer!"

"It’s really cozy house located on a quiet spot waterfront, with a great view. The outdoor space is also very cool with a fire pit and a grill. About the cleaning, we found some dusty spots and spiders webs inside the house. We’d definitely stay again in the future!"

"Got so lucky with this location! Usually book in Manzanita but just two miles away sits possibly the best location on the banks of the Nehalem River. A natural paradise! Great house, huge deck, and the whole Nehalem River valley unfolds at your feet! Super sweet spot!"

"Great well designed house. Lovely location with view. Short walk to beach. Equally short walk to great local deli/grocery store. Do check before you use any oils or other perishable seasonings from the kitchen here. Much of the food in the spice cabinet was long long expired. However there is a great selection of kitchen ware that makes it easy to cook anything you want. Walking west towards beach on university ave, once you come to end of university ave, there is a small forest trail that’s really beautiful and takes you to beach street and then to the coast."
