"We had a lovely bank holiday weekend and we dropped really lucky with the weather. The house had everything we needed and was really roomy with lots of seats everywhere. It was in a great location for walking down to the beach or into town. Kay was a great host and managed to let us check out late on our last day, which made a huge difference to our last day at the beach. Thank you so much."

"Myself and my 2 adult daughters had a wonderful short weekend at Waves at the Bay. The house was perfectly situated for a trip along the coast wherever you want to go we visited Bridlington, Scarborough (did the coastal walk - very enjoyable) and Filey on the last day. Had a wonderful Chinese takeaway from the Golden Dragon in Filey, would highly recommend it. The only downside to our visit was perhaps the lack of simple things like a dishcloth, washing up liquid, a couple of dishwasher tablets, perhaps even a few milk sachets or tea bags to tide you over. There was a bottle of handwash in the downstairs toilet but nothing in the upstairs bathroom. These little things would have been appreciated for a short break away but all in all it was a lovely base and we would stay there again."

"We had an amazing stay at the bee happy house! As a group of 6 adults there was more than enough space with large shared spaces and plenty of amenities! The house was in an amazing location just minutes from the beach, pubs and supermarkets! Looking forward to hopefully staying again in the future!"

"This place is perfect for a chilled out couples getaway. Aptly named The Hygge Out, it really emboidies all that is Hygge; from the clean asthetics and peaceful location to the 'back to basics' concept, albiet luxurious with the stove and hot tub being wood fired! The owners were downright lovely. Communication beforehand was great. They gave clear instructions for how to find the location and of any extras we might be interested in. Upon arrival there were concise instructions for use of the stove, hot tub and big green egg as well as notes about the onsite shop and checkout procedure. The pod itself was cosy and nicely furnished with everything you'd need for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean, including the hottub and patio. Being in the middle of nowhere, or so it felt, really gave us the opportunity to completely unwind and enjoy each others company. We will 100% visit again, thank you for a lovely stay."
