Glyfada Hotel Guide - Beach Hotels in Glyfada, Athens

Overall a very nice hotel, but surprised to see that the carpets in the hallways were filthy and stained. It made the hotel look much less nice than it actually was.

Overall I had a great stay at the Margi, the location is convenient for the beach and some good local restaurants. The staff were helpful and all the usual 5* amenities were available, including gym, pool etc. The negatives: the wifi Internet is poor and tends to cut out often or get slow. Also the plumbing in our room was dodgy - we repeatedly experienced sewage smells and the pipes were making loud gurgling noises when other guests used their bathrooms. the staff did unblock the sink, which helped briefly, but the problem recurred.

This hotel has a private beach area with some nice features and three swimming pools. The staff were very pleasant. The hotel was clean and the rooms were well attended to. Our stay included buffet breakfast with lots to pick from.

I love the location, the view, and your wonderful staff. Everyone at reception and the doormen were friendly, kind, and helpful. Thank you for a comfortable stay once again. ;) Great breakfast buffet

The location is fantastic and the view from our suite was as well. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom was quite good and had quality products. Sleep quality was a 10 on a 10 point scale. The staff is outstanding and goes out of its way to help you. For dinner or lunch it is a lovely 5 minute walk and there are great choices... some on back streets are even better.

Nice Hotel, with swimming pool and access to beach; restaurant is average.

Stayed for 5 nights, room had sea view, balcony overlooked evening outdoor entertainment, All you can eat buffet was very good, big varieties. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, modern. Staff was very hospitable. Did not have a la carte restaurant only snacks at bar. Not all guests had all inclusive package and no where to eat if didn't want to pay for buffet. Stayed there to be near relatives. Too far from everything, except the airport. Did not feel like Greece. Not much Greek influence in entertainment, food, etc. Catered only to French people. Couldn't participate in nightly entertainment, only in French. Should have some English and Greek. Felt left out.

Small and extremely friendly hotel that made our stay so enjoyable.

Hotel was nice and in a good location. Room was on the small side but cozy for the 2 days we were there prior to our cruise. Free breakfast was fantastic every morning. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Hotel staff was very nice thou bar seemed to be short staffed every night.

We booked the hotel due to its listing as near the airport at a reasonable price. We were surprised to learn that it was actually a 20-30 minute drive to the airport. The very helpful mother/daughter team at the reception desk were very kind and welcoming. They explained that the cab drivers they use don't overcharge ($28 Euros to the airport per car with the opportunity to share the ride with other guests. Book your transportation through the hotel to avoid a $38 Euro charge from the airport.) We were upgraded to a clean, adequately sized room with a balcony with a pleasant view. The flat screen tv was fine and there was access to English channels. The air conditioning worked very well. The swimming pool was excellent as was the lovely patio area. A very pleasant bar tender waiter provided good drinks. We were also able to order snacks and fairly priced decent food near the pool.
