Lone Rock Guest House, 20 acres minutes from the North Umpqua River

  • Lone Rock Guest House is a 4000 square foot Ranch style house on 20 acres less than one mile from the pristine steelhead waters of the North Umpqua River. It is located minutes from North Umpqua Highway 138 and the gateway to the Umpqua National Forest, Crater Lake National Park, Diamond Lake Lodge.

    We designed and completed this home in 2024 after the Archie Creek Fire destroyed our legacy family home. Britt Creek runs directly in front of the house three ponds on 20 acres of land.

I have stayed at probably 100 rental houses in my life - this is hands down my favorite and was best suited for my outdoor boys. There are endless things to do on the property and you are in the center of an outdoor adventure town with lakes, rivers, hikes, waterfalls, fishing and more. It was private, clean, well stocked, comfortable and high quality - and the host was responsive, welcoming and helpful. Thank you for the memories. I hope we can come back for an even longer stay next time.
