Close to the 87 highway and easy access to Saratoga and Lake George, both 15 minutes away. The space Newly renovated two bedroom house on gorgeous large lot in quiet safe neighborhood and 10 minute walking distance to downtown Glens Falls. The house was built during the Civil War and has a nice front porch, a beautiful yard abutting a park so it feels like you are in the country although you just a few minutes from thriving downtown Glens Falls where you will find restaurants, shopping and more. The kitchen has new appliances and stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware. There are 2 steeps between the kitchen/dinning room and the rest of the house. There is a newly renovated bathroom on the first floor. The living room is furnished with sofa, Oriental rug, a smart TV, and the electric fireplace. The only bathroom is on the first floor with bed rooms on the second. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, as is typical of old houses. The two bedrooms which are on the second floor are charming with sloped walls but have fairly low (6’3”) ceilings so as long as you’re not really tall, you’ll feel cozy. Master bedroom has king size bed plus futon couch/bed, and the other bedroom has two double bed. Easy drive to Saratoga. Glens Falls is a lovely town jn its own right. The home is very close to town, easily walkable. Home is very old (civil war era) put is well maintained. Central AC surprised me in a home of this age and it was welcome. Window ACs in bedrooms allowed individual climate control while sleeping. Beds were very comfortable. We didn’t use kitchen but seemed to be well equipped. Easy check-in with keypad. As we walked around the smell became overwhelming. Looking around, we discovered that the bedroom was on the second floor and bathroom on the first. That’s a major and unacceptable risk for us as seniors. I found that the smell was making me sick and the safety risk was a deal breaker. I contacted owner and asked for refund. She said sorry but would give partial refund, which I have not seen. You should know that the place is unacceptable. I would appreciate full refund. I will post a review if necessary. ##### john k.
