"This was very good value for money, and the breakfast was excellent. Reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated, and could be improved with some general maintenance/renovations, but overall we enjoyed our short stay."

"We have stayed here several times now and always find the Hotel friendly and convenient for our stay to visit family"

"Great central location to different parts of the Upper Hunter. Staff very friendly and super helpful"

"The resort was a great bargain and suited our needs. We arrived late, so didn’t make much use of the property but were able to get a bite to eat. Be aware that they close the office early, but we were able to get our room after ringing the bell, which works just fine."

"Great location next to the workers club, join up for $10 and get $4 schooners, great discounts on meals too. Staff very friendly, room very clean and good size. Will be staying here again."

"Great place to stay"

"Last minute check in, the person who met us was very lovely to deal with and the rooms are nicely fitted out and clean. Definitely recommend to stay here."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was smooth and the place had everything we needed."

"Beautiful place to stay, with great service. Would definitely stay there again."

"Spotless & new "

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."
