Easy 15 min drive to many outstanding restaurants and shops in Woodstock and even a Buddhist monastery, and about 30 min to other areas worth visiting including Tannersville and Kingston. Within 90 minutes of other interesting destinations such as West Point. Abundant opportunities for outdoor activities as well. Property managers are highly responsive. We needed and received help navigating some of the amenities. A visual guide to the not fully intuitive light switches and fixtures will be helpful for future guests. A soon to be hooked up indoor fireplace will be another great addition. Plows were sent promptly to clear a moderately heavy (though scenic) snowfall our first night.
