The City Hotel

The City Hotel

8/10 Good
"Centrally located with ( limited) private parking. Small room but perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast is cooked to order and there's a decent choice of items on the menu. As an option for an overnight stay within reasonable distance of Edinburgh it's pretty decent and considerably less expensive."

Crieff Hydro

Crieff Hydro

10/10 Excellent
"This was our first time staying at Crieff Hydro and we will definitely be back! Every member of staff we spoke with during our stay was helpful and well-informed. Excellent facilities (my partner and I utilised the Victorian Baths and the Adventure Park - thoroughly enjoyed). The food was a highlight for us both - would highly recommend people eat in East. As someone with dietary requirements, I was particularly pleased by how knowledgeable staff were about coeliac disease and the lengths to which Crieff Hydro went to to ensure my needs were met. Our only complaint would be the bed could have been comfier (quite a hard mattress) but otherwise very happy with our stay."
