First of all, this is a great location. Very walkable and near restaurants. The restaurant attached is only open for dinner on weekdays. The building itself is historic and very nice. Good condition and we were happy with it. But, I am not a fan of the self-service trend-thing happening. For check-in, they send you a code a few hours before check-in time, which is 4 p.m. If you want/need to check-in earlier, you have to pay for it. All online. So, there's no person to interact w/ for any flexibility. Now, we checked-out at 4;30 a.m. No refund for early check-out. I'm joking, of course, but that's generally why there's some wiggle room as far as check-in time is concerned. We had an issue w/ the fridge not being emptied from the prior occupant. We called and that was resolved quickly and the woman was very personable. If I hadn't had to call about that, we wouldn't have seen a human being during our entire stay. We were on the first floor (and there are some stairs to get to the first floor...mentioning only because there's no elevator). She mentioned an area w/ filtered water on the second floor. Otherwise we wouldn't have known. That was a beautiful area w/ seating and tables. Water and cups. Coffee cups, but no coffee maker. There is coffee in the rooms. Also, our suite only had AC working in the bedroom. The sitting area and bath did not. When you shut the bathroom door, it got very warm (August). Overall, good. Just don't expect any human interaction.

"Our room had mold in the bathroom. Our refrigerator had a slight leak to it and first of all around 4:45 AM in the morning we received a wake up call which we did not receive and it woke the entire room up. We have two small children so they cannot go back to sleep after that. The breakfast was terrible. ..."
