Bathrooms could be better. Pods were nice but on the second floor they can get really hot and humid. I was there for 6 nights and people that stay there for a while can be quite weird. Nothing to do with the location or the staff! People that work there are all amazing :)

Great location, overall it was a nice place to stay. We had a private apartment style room for our group of 5. The hostel hallways and common areas smelled like old rug and cigarettes. The staff was friendly. The hostel could really benefit from a small fitness area. This place is a good option if you are traveling on a budget.

Staff is kind. Bunk beds and the rooms always clean. The hostel is the perfect spot near everything, especially since it’s near that train or bus station that walkable distance to travel back to the airport or go explore the rest of Scotland. But since it’s in Merchant City, it can get noisy at night with people hanging around the local bars talking snd yelling loudly. But the stay provide earplugs in the room which is nice,

Staff are always kind, welcming and beyond helpful. Revolver is in a great location and perfect for solo travellers and more. In case anyone is debating it I highly recommend booking a pod if possible!

Was very clean and trendy looking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms/ Bathrooms are clean. Lockers free with digital lock, mine in room was broken but I just used one in the hallway no big deal. Storage under the bed for my backpack, I brought my own lock not sure if they sell or free? Towel included in fee was fuzzy and comfy. Bed was soft and clean with great privacy curtain. Stairs leading up to the top bunk are very thin and hurt my feet going up or down. Liked the common area, bar and ice water. Loved the window seat with a breezy window.

The hotel's in a prime central location within walking distance to plenty of clubs, restaurants and shops. It's everything you need for an overnight stay. Unfortunately for having communal bathrooms, one stall's lock is broken and another was out of toilet paper which was a bit of a bother considering there was three stalls overall.
