"Excellent value for money. This motel is surprisingly modern and well-presented, especially considering the price — easily one of the best value stays I’ve come across while travelling long distances. I used it twice so far as a quick overnight stop during a long drive, only for a few hours of sleep, and it was perfect for that purpose — convenient, comfortable. However, not quite on the Bruce Highway - you need to drive extra km but it is well worth the effort. I checked in after hours, and while the process itself was straightforward once sorted, the only downside was that the main phone line wasn’t being answered on numerous occasions when I tried to call ahead regarding late check-in and key pickup. That part could definitely be improved. Overall, great value and a very solid option for a stopover when travelling."

"Rooms had been renovated but ugly worn lounges sat in there. Showers didn’t drain properly and water ran out into bathroom, obvious design fault. Didn’t use the restaurant but it looked good. Cafe down stairs looked good too but the app in the room that lets you order indicated they were open but their sometimes not so check. Other than that good value for money on a budget."

"The lace is a good place to stay. The resort facilities re very good. The pool is fantastic. The staff were helpful to a point. On arrival for a three night stay we asked about the onsite restaurant opening times. We were informed that it is only closed on Tuesdays. Thursday night at about 1830 we went to the restaurant for dinner and were devised that it was a closed sitting due to a tourist bus arrival. I asked when were they aware of this and the staff looked like kangaroos frozen in headlights. Not at any time were we advised of this closure during our stay and when “found out” the staff offered no apologies. Great venue but staff really do need some better training in all aspects, especially guests services."
