There was no grater, no colander, no bread-knife, no kettle, no jug. There gripper/handle for a set of pans was missing, meaning they couldn't be used safely. There was a nespresso machine, but no cafetiere or other means of making coffee. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, however, and provided us with plenty of clean towels." We enjoyed games of table tennis as well as walking down the steps to the rocks and swimming and snorkelling in the clear waters. The views are stunning and the photos don’t do it justice, the colours change across the day and you just can’t tire of it. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and there is good air conditioning throughout. Georges was responsive to any issues and queries. He lived above the property but there was no issue with this at all for us. Local beaches are great as is the town of Cargèse. We were looking in downtown Calvi but were attracted to this property given the proximity to the beach, the pool and water slide and the 2bd/ 2ba accommodations. Overall we had an amazing stay! The beach is incredible. It was also cool to be the only Americans on the property. This was a little hard on our daughter as she couldn’t really make friends but overall she didn’t mind when she went on the water slide about 100 times. Things to note. You have to bring everything down to your hand soap to pool towels. The nice thing is that the store on the property is very reasonably priced and has everything you would need. We would return!
