Good hotel.
Hotel was ok for the price, it is further from the city center, but the bus/subway stops are very close so it is not difficult to travel around Munich. The staff was friendly at check in and check out, the rooms was a little cramped due to it having a small desk and a small seat in the room, we could've done without those and instead with more space. There was construction going on outside early in the morning so we kept the window closed to minimize the noise, I know this is not the hotel's fault, but it was not ideal. he only issue we had with the room was that the AC was not working, luckily we went in October so the weather was cool and we just opened the window to get some cool air.

I was told I can keep same room for my second day even I have separate order. But when I came back from October fest, my belongings are took out and been assigned to different room. It’s such a bad experience.

Not a great start , we booked with breakfast included, the hotel didn’t have that information on the booking, caused stress on arrival. After that all good.

Good for a cheap value for money stay
Cheap and cheerful hotel near an underground station. It has car parking for a fee. Clean and acceptable bedroom. Decent breakfast.

Perfectly acceptable lower cost hotel
Absolutely fine place to stay a night in Munich. Easy fo drive to and has underground parking for 14 euros a night. Easy walk to the underground to get to the city centre. Good breakfast.

Over for the price of the room, it's not bad at all Since I stayed in the winter and it was snowing I especially liked their unground heated parking. No snow to clean off the car and very EZ to get my items in and out of the hotel without going out in the snow Food selection near the hotel is very limited. Only 2 blocks to the M to the center of town

This hotel was well situated to the city. It was an easy Underground ride to Octoberfest. We would have really enjoyed having airconditioning.

Very inexpensive and close to Bayern Munich's training ground! Also, a Fussball stadium right across the street that hosts 1860 Munich and other top class FUSSBALL!

We didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the little time we spent there and asked questions we were helped quickly by friendly staff. We dealt with about 4 different people, and all of them were extremely professional.

Nice hotel reasonably close to a metro station. Very comfortable room and helpful staff. My only criticism . . . I thought the price of breakfast at 12 euros was a little on the steep side particulary as the waffle-maker, a major feature (!), was never working.

Hotel itself is good with comfy beds. However, they had the wrong check out date for me and spent a long time telling me i was wrong (even after i showed them my booking confirmation). Finally checked their expedia info (which matched my check out date) and announced their own system must have a bug, so it was decided i could stay for the amount of time i had booked. No apology for the error (which was quite stressful at the time!)

Tidy and compact
The room was tidy and compact, (we had two twin beds and a little space to walk around then) but since we didn’t spend much time in the room it was fine. Mattresses and duvets were fine, but pillows were very lumpy.

The hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the room small but perfectly adequate and the buffet quite sufficient. One feature I particularly like is the blue light that is automatically on in the bathroom at night, which is very helpful if one doesn’t need to switch on the main light.

Good value but shame about the road noise.
Overall Ibis is a good quality functional hotel. Unfortunately the room location has a big impact on the noise level in the room. My room faced onto a busy road with high levels of traffic throughout the night. In fairness I asked for a room change which they were were happy to facilitate for the remaking nights.

Clean and convenient hotel with good transport links within Munich. The hotel is on a busy street but the staff are really helpful and offered to move us to a twin room on the quieter side. The room was clean and had good amenities, although lacking a bit of character (which is unsurprising as it is an Ibis!) would definitely recommend.

Solid basic hotel
This property is fairly minimal, which is fine, but some of the amenities listed on the hotels.com website are actually not available at this hotel which was misleading. For example, there is no self serve laundry, only dry cleaning Monday - Friday. The "restaurant" downstairs is very minimal - they do have breakfast and some light food the rest of the day but it's limited and I don't think the hotel advertises it as a restaurant. There is a bar and decent seating area though. There were no hot water kettles available at all, but the staff was willing to fill up a cup I had brought with me when I asked. They were always very nice, and had a few drinks and sweets in a cooler which was handy when you didn't want to venture into a store nearby. The location is fine, nothing too exciting but very easy to get to U bahn and tram stations. I would probably stay here again under the right circumstances.

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood close to a subway station.room was small but clean. Amenities are a bit sparse- only 2 towels in the bathroom! But staff is efficient and helpful - I had some confusion with my rail ticket and the front desk took the time to help me straighten it out.

Hotel is clean and modern and located not far from the tram. Bedroom is nice and clean. Nice breakfast and nice staff. Wifi connection was very bad our entire stay. Comfy bed but the pillows aren’t firm enough. The way the shower was designed allows for water to splash out everywhere. Good amount of counter space in the bathroom. Air conditioning wasn’t working well our first evening but staff came and cleaned it the next day and it worked better after. Overall a good stay but if the wifi was better it would have improved our entire experience.

I like. the proximity of the hotel to the train/subway stations & bus/tram stops, restaurants/groceries/ shops, & other things that travellers usually need. We were disappointed at not being able to boil a kettle in our room but the staff were very obliging and gave us hot water from the bar. The most disappointing thing was that there was only Sky News in English, French news - in English and an Asian documentary station, so not being able to watch TV in English put a damper on things. The hotel location near to the 15/45 tram stop was very convenient for travelling into Munich.
