I rode my bike to several sites and walked to local pubs and stores. The house itself, though not from the Civil War era, does have that feel. The three bathrooms were nice. We are a family of 5 adults and 3 children, the youngest is 3\. My husband is a Civil War buff and he loved that we could walk to so many historic sites. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, with a lovely kitchen and a big dining room where we were all able to sit and eat meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. Also the house was cool and comfortable when we came home from a long, hot day of walking the battlefield. We also sat on the front porch in the evening.
