Just good for facilities as no plug socket near mirror for hair dryer and no tea/ coffee making equipment in the room which was in the garden so a good walk to restaurant. Even if this is not usually supplied, perhaps it should be given the location and standard.

Good location in a lovely village with lots of nice walking routes and easy to visit Cochem, Trier and other places in the region. Hotel is clean and room was spacious. Old plumbing means there was a lot of noise when the next door room flushed the toilet or took a shower. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had good options and always looked fresh. We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!

Amazing. Booked at 8pm with about 2h still to drive, arrived just before 19pm (reception closes at 10pm). Got the room, got the EV car on the charger, got a bow for the doggie and all went perfectly fine.

I was in a double room overlooking the Rhein, with a balcony, though if leaving the door to the balcony open it did get a little noisy, though I probably wouldn't have noticed it had I not been travelling solo. There was a small fridge in the room suitable for cooling drinks, storing medication etc. There was no kettle, though to be fair I didn't ask for one either - so they may be available? Friendly staff, lovely food

I just needed a cheap single room, which is exactly what it was. A very good location close the the ring, with good restaurants nearby. I took my own kettle to have a cuppa tea 1st thing, but could have done with a small fridge. But otherwise perfect for my needs.
