Excellent hotel and staff, very friendly and helpful, made you feel very welcome. Restaurants superb, especially the more formal Michelin dining.

Parking was directly outside the accomodation - the evening meal and breakfast were both first class

When we recieved a message from the hotel owner, Mr Zimmerman a few days when to say there had been a mistake and we should not have been able to book a room on this day as the hotel was closed

Receptionist very funny and undertands jokes. Dinner very nice, but that led to dissappointing breakfast

Ideal for airport

Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid.

Comfortable room geat shower, wonderful veiws, fantastic restaurant and professional friendly staff.

Lobby is the most interesting and beautiful lobby I have seen - retro furniture (very well kept) and interesting art. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the train station. It is a bit off from the main tourist attractions but it is a very short bus ride to the city center and many buses come by. I read in other reviews that people walked into city center but we took the bus. Staff were friendly and helpful. When we got in, we got a room facing the street. We thought it might be noisy....

With all of the neighboring construction, dilapidated buildings, and Red Cross building nearby, I wasn't sure what the hotel would be like, but let's just say that I would gladly return. Not only was it decorated nicely, but the hotel provided a calm and relaxing environment for a getaway weekend. The double-bed room was much bigger and nicer than expected compared to other places I have visited. The room was immaculant and was quite comfortable. My only two complaints were flat pillows...

When we were there (June 2025) reception opened at 1600 and was off-site. You had to phone a number to get a key safe code to obtain your room key. When phoning, you hear a recorded message in German. Sadly, we could not understand the message so had to rely on the restaurant staff (who were on site) to help us connect to reception. German speakers would have no problem but non-Germans may have a problem. Another issue we had is that the hotel states it has an EV charging point - it does...
