Gergei Historic Centre Holidays from £554

All the staff are excellent. Hotel is very clean. Room was lovely and the AC is very quiet. Our room had a balcony too, which we hadn't expected. Mini bar fridge broke down, but was replaced within 48 hours. We arrived late at night and had a pizza in the restaurant, which was really nice. Breakfast had scrambled egg as a hot option, plus cold meats, different cheeses, fruit, etc. Croissants were lovely, as was the coffee which was fresh to order. The pools looked nice, however the bar isn’t open until 3pm. But I gather the reception staff can pop up and do simple drinks There's a supermarket downstairs, which is convenient. And the petrol station next door, has a bar along with a 24 hour machine. You'll need to put your driving licence in it for over 18 purchses. Overall, very nice, very clean and lovely staff.

It is hotel for the kids due to the sports and all activities. Don’t expect great service and luxury. The included food is average and only the good food could be found at the restaurants you pay. The staff is not completely fluent in English so if you order something expect receiving the incorrect order for example ordering a drink could be challenging unless is something straight forward like a Beer. The fact that the kids enjoy it balances out a bit. In our opinion given the price it is not worth it. If you are going to give it a try we suggest no more than a week or 5 days.

This is probably the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. If you like that, this is the place for you. The whole space down to the little details were amazing. Location is fantastic. Room was comfortable. We did have a problem when we got there, not sure if it was us or how we missed it but we specifically chose this hotel because it said there is valet parking. When we arrived, there was not valet parking, and they told us we needed to arrange that prior to our arrival and they would hire a service to park our car. We ended up having to park a few blocks away at a public parking lot, which was ok but a hassle. Be aware that you need to pre-book valet if you want that service. Otherwise this hotel was fantastic in every way.

Lovely room and huge bathroom. Breakfast had the best coffee ever.

Lovely area. Gorgeous farm animals. Very kind concierge and check-in staff, great driver (Stefano) but there need to be more options for the buffet.
