    We keep things pretty simple here: enjoy yourself, respect the property, and be a good neighbour. A little consideration goes a long way!

    Check-in & checkout: Check-in is at 4 PM, and checkout is at 11 AM. Need a little flexibility? Just ask—we’ll accommodate when we can.

    Be a good neighbour: Have fun, but keep music and voices at a considerate level, especially outside late at night.

    Guests & gatherings: Please stay within your property’s listed overnight guest limit. Planning a party or larger gathering? Check with us first.

    Smoking & vaping: Please keep both outdoors, close doors and windows, and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

    Pets: Bringing a furry friend? Make sure your reservation includes approval for pets. Please pick up after them, keep them under control outside, and avoid leaving them unattended if they may bark or cause damage.

    Treat the home with care: Please leave furniture where you found it and keep indoor furnishings inside. Accidents happen—just let us know promptly if something breaks or needs attention.

    Grills & fire pits: Where provided, please use them responsibly, keep grills at least 10 ft from the house, keep fires attended, and fully extinguish everything when finished.

    Parking: Use the parking areas designated for your property, keeping neighbouring spaces and driveways clear.

    Before you head home: Wash used dishes, place trash in the designated bins, check for belongings, and lock up. No deep cleaning needed—just leave the home reasonably tidy.

Great place to stay

This was the perfect location within walking distance to the strip. Very cute cottage and the front porch was great to sit out on and enjoy the scenery and mingle with people who walk by . Would definitely stay here again .

Memorial Weekend

The house was a great location at the end of the strip. We did not use our car once. Everything is in walking distance. Kids had fun in the upstairs room and the bathroom was big and updated. Would definitely recommend :)

Long weekend

House was nice...slight glitch with door locks checking in. Support from owner was great. Only downside is living room furniture is definitely not comfortable. Thanks for enjotable weekend.

Just What I Needed

We were in town for the Buckeye PVA Wheelchair Games at the Spire Institute, this property was the best fit for that we needed. Not only was it close (15 minutes) but it had amazing views and a great amount of parks within walking distance for my son to enjoy. Thank you for providing such an amazing venue for my first adventure to GOTL.

House was very neat and tidy could have used a couple of end tables and another chair or couch. Also beds in the upstairs were not on the proper bedframe and when you sat on the end, the mattress almost flipped up dishes were not unloaded out of dishwasher when we arrived, but overall, it was a good stay would stay there again

Nice little cottage with plenty of room. Lots of amenities. Adjacent to many activities. Sofa bed was in poor condition and the washer/dryer was not working. Floors could have been cleaner. Beds we’re comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again.

this was such an amazing deal i got last minute couldnt be happier with the place and communication with the host. any question i had was responded to quickly. everything is close by and easy to get stuff in and out of place because parking was close and not on the street. the whole place felt private yet safe with neighbors still close 5 out of 5 star would rent again for sure downtown 2 blocks away with beach across the street cant get any better location

Great getaway

My mom and I came from TN for a wedding in Madison. This place was a great place and just about 20 minutes from the wedding and family. There is a park across the road with great views of the lake. The house is clean and stocked with everything needed for a get away. The only downfalls were the stair case is steep so it might be difficult for some and the parking has signs but some are missing so parking might be tight during the busy season. Overall, great place and I would stay there again.

Nice

Having read a bad review after booking the cabin was a little worried as the place may not be as listed. However, we were pleasantly surprise. The cabin was very neat and clean. There was NO dog hair and did not smell of dog. A beautiful kitchen and bathroom very spa like. Yes, we did have a mid size dog with us and he loved it also.

PERFECT!

We are from Conneaut, but had a lot of business to take of in Mentor. My husband also needed to be able to get back to Conneaut as needed for other work projects. Instead of driving back and forth between the two we decided to get a place in Geneva.It worked out GREAT! It was so convenient and the cottage was clean, comfortable, pet friendly & well appointed with a perfect location. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to route 84. Matt is terrific!!!We'll be back - we highly recommend this cottage!!!PS: It was much more spacious than it looked in the photos. :-)

Great place to stay!

We were in town for a dance competition at Spire Academy, and found this lovely property to rent! The house was cute, well decorated, and just the right size for the 4 of us. This was my first VRBO, and I was a little worried about how it would all go versus a hotel. I didn't have to worry at all! Reserving it, paying, and check in were super easy. The house is on the main drag in town, really cute, and super clean! 3 beds and smart TVs in each room meant we all had a bed and could relax and watch what we wanted. The kitchen was spacious, well equipped, and made making dinners really easy. The bathroom was very nice and had tons of towels. The checkout process was very easy as well. We will definitely try to rent this home again next year for the dance competition. If you want a cute place to stay, be near the lake and main drag, but have plenty of room to relax, you can't go wrong here!

Dwcember 2024 Stay

The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. we blew a fuse and they came within a few hours to fix it. The location is great right on the main road at one end of the strip with easy access to all the main strip attractions (which this time of year are limited but that is expected and has no impact on rating or review). The tenperature in the house seemed slightly inconsistent, we kept the thermostat on the same temp and one night it was cold one night hot, at least in the upstairs bedrooms. The upstairs bedrooms also depending on your group, may not be ideal as they are essentially one room, no doors just the stairwell in between and you can see feom one room to the other and hear every sound as if it were a single room. I would not say this would prevent me from staying in this property again, but likely not as 3 adult couples. I would however definitely rent from this owner again.

Perfect cottage steps away from everything on the strip

We traveled with our two adult children and their sig others, plus the family pet. This rental was the perfect size, as we were really only there to eat breakfast and sleep. It had everything we needed in every space! It’s nice now that there is the small market just down from the house at the fork in the road in case you forget an essential or want snack or something to throw in the microwave. If not, the camp store at the camp ground is just a short drive too. The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars on cleanliness is because the dishwasher wasn’t emptied of the clean dishes from a prior stay. Not an inconvenience whatsoever. At least we knew they were clean! If you are traveling with a pet, just be advised there is little potty space on the property, but there is a very large park just across the street with plenty of room to roam (take your own baggies). We typically bring our camper there to Indian Creek, but for the price, location and amenities, we will most definitely consider booking this spot again!

Location location location! Our son loved watching all the cars, golf carts, hot rods, and motorcycles go by. Only one hiccup during our stay but we made the best of it.
