"One of the best Scottish full breakfast meals of our holiday. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early. We had room#8 and from the minute I walked in, I started sneezing and my eyes would water up and get congested. Fortunately we weren't in the room much but I barely got any sleep due to tossing and turning. Finally after three of our four nights we had to leave. The hotel did offer to see if they could move rooms but that really wouldn't have mattered at that point. I am allergic to dogs and perhaps that is the reason. Unfortunately our rooms were non refundable so I had to lose a nights costs to get a good night of sleep. "

This house quickly became our safe haven from sideways rain, midges with ambition, and roads that politely pretend to be two lanes. The kitchen saw heroic efforts (and a few questionable meals), while the windows delivered postcard views on demand. If these walls could talk, they’d mention laughter, muddy boots, and at least one moment of “is that a sheep or a rock?” To the next guests—lean into the adventure, trust the kettle, and never underestimate how fast Skye can steal your heart."

"The full stay was beautiful, staff really lovely and friendly, room was spotless and loved the surprise when I arrived after not having my bedding changed, unique and extremely thoughtful. "The room and common areas were very nice here and felt clean. We loved our room and the bed. Great bathroom and shower. The hotel does have a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner but we felt it was expensive. There’s obviously lots of cafes and trinket shops around in Portree. I will warn that there are only stairs here so big bags could be difficult or accessibility concerns. Parking is right in front if you are able to get a spot. "
