We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Birchwood Lodge. The lodge was perfect for our needs and located in a quiet, peaceful community that we really enjoyed.We loved being able to take advantage of the kayaks and paddleboards provided and enjoyed the beautiful lake views every day. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and convenient.Our host truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. We felt right at home and would absolutely recommend Birchwood Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

A perfect piece of paradise in northern Michigan. We enjoyed the weekend. Definitely worth it. Our motto was “If you are bored here you are lying”Kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and so much more. We had family age 4 months to 78 years old. We were busy having fun from the time we arrived until we left. Even took advantage of the late check out option.

Fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking or just sitting on the deck watching the loons and bald eagles. Plenty of space for a large family to gather or find some quite time alone. Plenty of things to do on the property or in the house. The kitchen has all the gadgets you will need for you stay . We had seven adults and six kids ranging from 3 to 13 years old. No one got was bored. Breakfast and dinner on the deck were a highlight for us. The host replied quickly to any inquiries we had. Five star stay all around.
