Nice enough hotel in a convenient location to explore the Pyrenees. However, for the price paid I would expect better. The staff were very pleasant and the service was excellent, so I cannot fault that. However, the room was a little small and there was a smell from the bathroom (presumably the drain). The reception area was nice but the peeling wallpaper let it down. It wouldn’t take much to sort out. The main disappointment was the restaurant. The starter of foie gras was very good but was sadly led by a not so great burger for me and trout for my other half. There was nowhere else to eat and the restaurant had good reviews (and wasn’t cheap!) so we were disappointed by this.
