Also, the only bathroom is accessible from the bedroom\*\*\* If you are ready to unwind and enjoy your time away from "the world," look no further. Unwind in the hot tub, play a couple hands of cards, shoot some pool, watch a little TV, play horseshoes outside, or take a stroll around the area. Entering Flying Squirrel's private drive, You will find yourself swept away into the secluded woods surrounded by nature and the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. There are only 3 cabins in this private 7 acre area and they are situated in a way to provide ultimate privacy. Flying Squirrel is directly between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and a quick half mile off the main Parkway. You will feel as though you are away from it all yet still are so close to enjoy all the town has to offer. The master bedroom has a king sized bed that sits next to a stone-stacked gas fireplace where you can relax. The bathroom - only accessible through the master bedroom - has a custom tiled jetted shower with no bathtub. The cozy living room is surrounded by a wall of windows and has a beautiful gas fireplace. There is a new couch with a pull-out sleeper sofa and comfy recliner. The kitchen comes fully stocked with appliances, cookware, and utensils for those nights you want to stay in and cook with the food you supply. The dining room which seats 4 will have you feeling as though you are eating in a tree house as your are surrounded by walls of windows looking into the woods. The upstairs loft is a fun little spot where you can play pool or sit on the couch and watch tv. The upstairs loft has a pull out sofa. This cabin was exactly what the doctor ordered. It was in the perfect location as well as secluded. The cabin was very homey, the atmosphere of the property was very calming. I really enjoyed having my coffee while watching the fireplace in the morning. There was plenty to do within a short distance (Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville). Our host returned our communication readily and answered our questions and concerned. Only 2 other cabins nearby, but still felt very secluded…not on top of one another…only the 3 cabins on this road up. Very easy to get to, right off the parkway. Cleanest cabin we have stayed in for it to be pet friendly…no carpet…which is the way pet friendly anything should be…no smells, very clean. This cabin was 100% perfection. We left twice for essentials, but almost all of our time was spent on the porch. We saw 4 bears over the course of 1.5 days. Was such a wonderful experience. Upon first going my husband and I, really enjoyed gatlinburg however with the kids they preferred pigeon forge area. Very exciting we got to see 3 black bear on our last day from the porch. They ealked right up to the steps. Definitely will be back! ##### Amber J. ---
