"This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!"

"The barn at Stalbridge completely fulfilled our needs. Very good communication from the owner, easy key access, good parking information, fully self contained. Warm large bedroom which suited us in spring, comfortable bathroom , small shower cubical but we were fine with that. "

Would stay again

"Amazing place, temperature was minus and freezing so couldn’t get the heating high enough, but to be fair the bed was extremely comfy and had a really good sleep before going onto my next location, would definitely stay again and give time to use the facilities better! The Nog inn was a great local pub for food and drink 5 mins in a taxi "

Long Stay - Home Away from Home!

"This has been a fantastic property for us. We are working away from home and this property really did become our home away from home. The house is clean, as described, spacious, and makes working away so much easier! Ample parking, good WiFi, great kitchen facilities. Definitely worth the list price, it was perfect."

Superb find

"Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked options. Not excessive, but more than enough to start the day. Superb quality all round, would recommend."
