Garrucha Vacation Packages
Garrucha is located approximately 250 miles (402 kilometers) from Madrid, the capital of Spain, and about 80 miles (129 kilometers) from Granada.
Garrucha is not the only place in Andalucia worth exploring; visitors should also take a day trip or two to experience the charms of the surrounding landscapes, towns and cities. Examples of places within a relatively short distance of Garrucha are Aguilas, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southwest, and Uleila del Campo, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the east.
About 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the north of Garrucha is Lorca, a regional city which is home to Lorca Castle, Plaza de Toros and El Santuario de Vera Cruz. Be sure not to head back to Garrucha until you've checked out Lorca's Porche de San Antonio and Colegiata de San Patricio.
Enjoy a little local culture amid the great outdoors at the region's fabulous gardens. Spend a few hours exploring Andalucia's history museums, art museums and art galleries. These are great places to hang out, especially on overcast or inclement days.
When you hear the call of the wild, follow the lead of local thrill seekers and spend the day rock climbing and four-wheel driving. Relax like the locals in the Andalucia region. Try shore fishing and picnicking while you are here.
When it's time to head back to the comforts of home, you'll be bidding this special place a fond and teary Adiós (farewell).
