Just minutes from the train station, the Zugspitze train, the pedestrian area of Garmisch, and hundreds of kilometers of walking trails that you can access by just walking. The description and photos are all very accurate - very clean, quiet and comfortable. We loved the seating on the balcony for dinner or a glass of wine! A perfect place in Garmisch for a couple on vacation. The location is really ideal. We did have a car but we opted to walk and take public transportation most of the time. It's a 2 minute walk to the bus stop, 5 minute walk to a grocery store and 10 minute walk to the train stations. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, müssen aber auch sagen, dass durch die Außenanlage eines benachbarten Hotels (Außenpool), die Geräuschkulisse abends deutlich durch geschlossene Fenster zu hören war. Das meiste konnten wir fußläufig erreichen, wie z. B. die Zugspitzbahn und zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Familie Scheck war sehr nett und wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Zugspitz Bahnhof gleich um die Ecke. Lidl für den Einkauf auch. Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet und der Blick vom Balkon auf dem Berg ist der Wahnsinn gewesen.
