"My visit was a work trip with my team. The Quail was such a wonderful choice when picking a place to stay for the group. From the moment we walked in the door, until checking out, customer service was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. There were multiple thoughtful special touches that made the stay welcoming, from the TV having your name, the robe in the bathroom, a patio with a great view and the grounds were beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed smores provided upon request at one of the many fire pits and places to sit and talk throughout the complex. I worked with the sales team to reserve a meeting room and breakfast and they met all of our expectations and were easy to work with. Thank you for making our stay special. "

"What a beautiful and beautifully situated place this is. Bright, peaceful, quiet, and airy, this home was a lovely retreat for us during a busy wedding weekend. The home has plenty of space, lots of light, and a lovely, meandering riverside garden with wonderful terraces and decks overlooking the Carmel River. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, and the lovely bath products were a treat. And the location was perfect—6 minutes from the winery wedding venue! Thank you for a wonderful weekend."

"Room was perfect for my wife and I. Property was beautiful. Carmel vally village was super close with plenty of eating and wine tasting options. Carmel and Montery are a short drive through a beautiful area. Would definitely stay here again"

"Location is excellent, walking distance to good restaurants and a nice park to walk through. Driving distance to great hikes and even more great restaurants. Beautiful nooks and crannies to play games or sit and relax. Fire pits to sit by. Wild flowers everywhere. Room were lacking decor so not super pretty but certainly clean and comfortable. Service and breakfast was wonderful. "

"Ok first off, let me just say if you do not like far drives, being far away from everyone, or if you get freaked out by noises easily, you probably shouldn’t stay here lol. The drive up was kind of intense the first time only because we weren’t sure if it was the right way, but my gps took us to the exact address and Tracy did a great job sending directions as well. (Also glad we brought our lifted 4Runner because of the road) Once we reached our destination, we were all in awe. It was so beautiful. Yes, the place needs a few minor updates on some things like sockets and window screens, but other than that, everything was great. We didn’t get to enjoy the deck since we had wedding stuff to take care of, but we had a beautiful view from there. The master suite was our favorite for sure. Waking up to that view every morning was breathtaking and not to mention, the SHOWER! Absolutely stunning! And you guys, just remember you are staying in a tree house and yes there is wildlife and there are spiders. You’re literally in their home! We did get woken up a few times by squirrels and woodpeckers hahah, but heck. It was our wedding week and who sleeps anyway! Check-in and check-out was super easy. Tracy stayed in touch the entire stay which was nice. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back. I didn’t take too many photos, but everything on the site is still pretty accurate!"

"Beautiful and tranquil get away nestled in the Carmel Valley. Delicious restaurant on property (Lucia) and wonderful homegrown wine (Bernardus label - the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are delicious). Close to Carmel-by-the-Sea and everything good!"

The Hidden Valley Inn has undergone substantial renovations of late and the property keeps getting better and better with each stay. Highly recommended!"
