On the edge of the town, a short walk to restaurants,beaches etc. steep walk back. Clean, well presented hotel, slightly dated but everything seemed to work. Book ahead for a parking space!

It’s a bit dated, but it’s a lovely place where you can really relax and feel at home!! Be sure to book a room with a view of the lake (it’s lovely and quiet) rather than one facing the road. We’d definitely come back here again.

Amazing view from our room, we loved our balcony! The hotel is great; it has everything you need, and the staff were very helpful. I would totally recommend staying here, it’s worth the price, and the amenities are excellent.

We have had the most amazing time with our 10-months old baby, mainly because of the very friendly and helpful staff across the hotel (reception, breakfast, restaurant and the manager himself). The rooms are of the right size, with a modern bathroom and the most spectacular view (make sure to book a lake-view room). Tasty coffee at breakfast and a nice spread of food!

Picked this hotel as we wanted a chilled couple of days. Room was lovely and so nice to have a huge bed like we have at home. Views are great across the lake. Staff are very friendly too. Walkable into the little town. Hope to find the time to comeback again.

This was our favorite part of our northern Italy trip. Meandro was relaxing, peaceful, helpful, and kind. This property is amazing, the restaurant was incredible, and the breakfast buffet is the best I have ever experienced. The hotel staff are extremely helpful.

We just spent 4 nights at the Hotel Meandro and had a really lovely time. Beautiful view of the lake from our terrace, super clean room and very comfy king bed. Pool and sauna was very nice, breakfast had everything you could ask for including vitamins! Like a lot of Italian hotels it had only a little shabbiness but we would be very happy to stay there again. It’s just up from the public beach, they provide a beach bag and towels. Walkable to everywhere. And all the staff were SO nice. They all have kind eyes so says my husband. A memorable vacation in a beautiful place.

Staff were excellent and it’s in a gorgeous location, within a 10 min walk of Gargnano for dinner. However the room itself was in need of some updating - several parts of the floor were coming loose and they were clearly aware of this as some quick fixes had been made but meant that screws were not flush with the floor. The room itself had an unpleasant odour. The layout meant accessing different facilities around the hotel often meant wrong turns and confusion. Breakfast was good with lots of options.

Nice hotel with spa. Breakfast was lovely and had dinner there one night which was fantastic. The views from the room and restaurant was amazing. Bed was comfy and the tvs had samsung DEX so could watch normal streaming sites in English. Local areas was very nice though small. Transport around the lake was an issue. Minimal buses and the boat timetable was limited. To get anywhere took a long time For example, to get to Riva Del Garda was over 1 hour on a bus and to get to the southern lake shore would be 1.5 hour in a boat/bus. Taxis pretty much don't exist around the lake with only 3 very small companies that often refuse to provide service and are very expensive when they do. That being said, we sent in April before the main season had properly started. We loved April as the weather was lovely and warm and barely anyone but locals around. The local restaurants and cafes were lovely so if you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a quiet area with a beautiful view then this will be perfect.

Just arrived home from the most amazing trip away to Hotel Meandro. Everything from the arrival, to staff, the room and food was perfect and of course the wonderful view from the room and the Sky Terrace was breathtaking. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We arrived late in the evening after some delays and they made sure we had easy instructions for a self check in. Breakfast was a real highlight of the trip - lovely food and the most attentive and friendly staff who our baby looked forward to seeing every morning. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit nearby villages and there is a lovely little beach about 200m downhill which offers swimming, water sports and a couple of beach bars/restaurants. Hands down the best trip we have ever been on. It’s worth booking a car parking space if you have hired a car as parking can be slightly tight around the hotel itself. Tignale is a lovely spot to visit with beautiful panoramic views over the lake and mountains and a handful of cute restaurants and ice cream parlours which are really reasonably priced. We were so grateful for the complimentary bottled water on arrival and departure as nipping to a shop with an 8 month old wasn’t always the easiest thing in the heat. The indoor swimming pool was such a great additional facility with a little garden by the side for lounging around. The only reason for the 4 stars on facilities was due to our aircon being a little ropey - it worked okay but think it was due a service.
