Quietly situated a short drive (9 km) from the shores of Garda Lake, this charming apartment for 4 is arranged on the ground floor of a renovated farmhouse (6 apartments in total) in the ancient village of Liano.
The property is located a little higher above the town of Gargnano, on the western shore of Garda Lake, an ideal place for both trekking, mountain biking, tennis, horse riding, as well as water sports on the lake, such as canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, pleasure boating, sport fishing and diving.
The accommodation consists of two lovely bedrooms and a large light-filled living space with a kitchen from which you can access a large terrace. This space is furnished with a double sofa bed, a coffee table and a six-seater dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a Moka coffee machine, an oven, a cooker hob, and a fridge freezer. Guests have access to the shared garden, with a playground, where you can admire the western shore of Garda Lake. There\'s also an outside dining table and sun loungers.

The holiday apartment on the hillside with gorgeous views of the lake is ideal for those looking for a peaceful vacation in an Italian resort town close to the lake. The nearest public beach from the house is Spiaggia di Castello which is about 18 minutes’ drive. There is a host of other beaches that are about half an hour\'s drive from here. Guests have a choice between restaurants and cafes that are located close to the house (about 3-5 minutes) or drive up to the beach and enjoy their meals while watching the lake.
The house is located in Gargnano (9km), the largest district on the Western side of Lake Garda. It has a variety of terrains- plain, hills, mountains and the lakes- offering a myriad of activities to enjoy. It is home to a number of events like a Jazz concert, expositions and races. For historical buffs, there are a handful of places of interest like the church of San Francesco and San Martino, the rice gardens and architecture of Villa Feltrinelli and Villa Bettoni. The 2.5-kilometre path that leads along the shoreline from Limone (15 km) is also worth following on foot or bicycle. Built directly along the lake’s edge, hugging the cliffs, the path is suspended over the water and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Do not miss the small beaches that line the Garda, as well as the boat that will take you to the eastern shore of Garda.
There is a golf course(10km) and a tennis court (9km) at a short drive from here. The nearest airport is about 150 kilometers from the apartment.

Die Wohnung ist toll geschnitten, leider ist es recht hellhörig und man kann jede Bewegung über einen Hören, besonders das Stühle rücken ist sehr störend, da alle Fliesen haben und es nicht gedämmt ist. ACHTUNG bei der Terrassen Nutzung, im Buch steht von 8:30 Uhr - 23 Uhr darf lärm gemacht werden, was mit Kindern morgens spät ist. Ansonsten war alles super, es gibt einen Parkplatz vor Ort und auch welche an der Straße genauso kann der Gemeinschaftsgarten jederzeit genutzt werden. Kaffeemaschine gibt es vor Ort nicht, es handelt sich hierbei um ein Espressokocher. In unseren 2 Wochen Aufenthalt hatten wir nicht einmal WLAN, uns wurde gesagt das es in den Bergen kommt und geht, wir hatten nicht ein Signal, wer Internet braucht um mal einen Film zu schauen (keine Deutschen Sender vorhanden) ist hier ohne Handy aufgeschmissen.
Eine schöne Wohnung mit schönen Möbeln.
Leider nahezu alle Fenster (riesige Fensterfronten) zur Sonne, es wurde trotz tagsüber geschlossener Fenster und zugezogener Vorhänge sehr warm.
Da es gegenüberliegend keine Fenster gab, konnte man abends auch nicht durchlüften.
Es gab leider auch keinen Toaster (wir hatten nicht nachgesehen, ob es einen geben sollte, aber wir hätten ihn gebraucht und finden, so etwas sollte als Grundausstattung vorhanden sein). Als Kaffeemaschine gab es einen Espressokocher. Geschirr und Gläser genau für 6 Personen, man musste also nach jeder Mahlzeit den Geschirrspüler starten (schlecht für die Umwelt). Ein Geschirrtuch zum Abtrocknen gab es nicht…
Seife und wenigstens eine Rolle Toilettenpapier gab es nicht.
Die Wohnung ist schwierig zu erreichen, wir sind mit 2 Autos angereist und die Navis wollten uns jeweils an der Kirche (wenn man das Ziel schon fast erreicht hat) rechts den Weg hochschicken - keine gute Idee.
Der Weg hinunter zum See dauert so 10-15 min, je nach Fahrweise ;-)
