Very nice location in Galway with a host of bars, restaurants, and shops a short walk away.The description in the listing indicated there was a washer AND dryer in the unit. However, there was only a washer. Instructions left for the washer were not for the unit we had so need to be updated.Instructions for all other items were clear.

If it wasn't for the location, I would've given it 1 star. First off, the listing says it has a washer and dryer. On the listing details after checking in, there is even a guide for a washer dryer. After washing a load of clothes and them not drying, I had to look up the machine's serial number just find out that is was just a washing machine. We purposely skipped doing laundry at our hotel because we planned on doing it at this apartment. After messaging the host, we were able to find a drying rack. Due to the cold, wet, weather they never fully dried and I spent about two hours of our (less than) 48 hour stay using the iron to try and dry my clothes. When the owners finally responded a day later, they said they were aware the details were wrong and haven't been updated. So they KNOW it is wrong (including a previous review mentioning this issue) and refuse to update it.Secondly, the room by the road is extremely loud and uncomfortable. They do supply earplugs to sleep with, so that way fine and understandable because of the great location. But I woke up with terrible back pain due to the miserable bed (none of the other beds were this bad.) Turns out, the mattress was FLIPPED upside down, so we were sleeping on literal springs. Unsure why it was flipped and I was too scared to check.Please note there are only two reviews despite this being an established rental unit.In short: Just be aware of the downfalls of this property and don't expect communication.
