Nice B&B, good location

Doolin welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. Nice room, good shower and comfortable beds. Convenient location with a short walk to Quay street. Car park onsite. Definitely recommend as it was a nice stay for the money.

Very friendly. Local hospitality abounds.

I was a solo female traveler and felt safe, and had a very nice room. The proprietors are very helpful. I was stranded in Galway because of the bus strike and Sean and Donel were very good about booking day trips outside of Galway. I'd say this was the trip of a lifetime. They had a wonderful Breakfast every morning. They are 5 minutes from town; quiet neighborhood.

Pros: Close to everything, clean, very friendly staff
Excellent good experience. Galway city was lovely to walk around. St. Jude's was close to the bus station. Friendly cheerful staff

Brothers Donal and Shaun are very sweet and accommodating. They upgraded us and drove us into town when it was raining. Rooms are clean, modern, spacious. View out to the water was lovely. Great stay, very quaint.

Pleasant hotel for a weekend in Galway

Posted 13-Mar-2017
The BB is conveniently located, a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the room, despite being very simple, was appropriate for a weekend trip to the West Coast. The bathroom shower was the only thing that clearly needed some renovating.

Great B&B in walking distance to city centre

Posted 01-Mar-2017
We loved staying at St Jude's Lodge. The room was cozy and good-sized, with a great view out to the street which is lined with quaint B&Bs. We were in walking distance to the main city centre in Galway and left our car parked in the car park our entire stay. The staff was great and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again if life brings us back to Galway.

Highly recommend. Not only is this lodge in a great location for walking around the city, the facilities are beautiful and very clean. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view. So much natural light. Thanks a million!

Very well located, free parking, friendly staff, very good breakfast, and confy clean rooms. Not as cheap as others B&B, but defenetly above avarage.
