Super City Centre Location - Sleeps 5

  • Enjoy a stylish experience at this super centrally-located apartment. Tucked away just minutes from the buzz of all of the shops, bars and restaurants, this modern and compact apartment is the perfect home away from home to return to after a day or night out. Three cosy and bright ensuite bedrooms together with a kitchen/living area and outside balcony/patio.

    One open plan living, dining and kitchen area with comfortable seating and one round dining table.

    On same floor there is one double bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

    A further two ensuite bedrooms are found on the next floor up one flight of stairs - single bedroom and a double bedroom.

    To access the apartment you must go up one flight of stairs. The apartment is compact and not suitable for people who require a little more space to maneouvre.

    Parking is not available at the apartment but there is on street parking outside and a public car park a short 5 minute walk away where you can park for 12.50 EUR for a full day (Dyke road car park).

    Weekly cleaning and linen/towel change can be arranged for an additional fee.

Good location. Excellent communication with host who was very responsive to requests and questions. Very clean. All 3 bedrooms have a private bath which was great. Main floor bedroom and bathroom are quite small. Though there are several cafes nearby (less than a block away) for morning coffee, it would have been nice to have a coffeemaker or even a French press in the unit in place of the instant coffee provided.

Positives: It is a fabulous location. Host communicates quickly. Negatives: figuring out which apartment is the right one is tricky. Not labeled. Interior door code not clearly labeled on instruction sheet. Bathrooms smell musty/moldy.Probably because the heat doesn’t remain on. Heat is on a timer for 15min-3 hours. Also, only on high. So the bedroom would get too hot when getting ready in the morning then open the door to cool off and freeze again. It was extremely cold overnight and when returning. Owner says this is a benefit for the environment. I don’t think so.
