The back porch area (with gas BBQ and Adirondack chairs) is shared with any guests that might be staying at our Carriage Guest House Cottage. The Cottage is a completely separate unit behind the main house with it's own private entrance. ● Shared Amenities We have 2 bicycles and Beach Essentials for guests (beach towels, beach chairs (2) and beach wagon. These are shared between guests in the main house and Guest House on a first come - first serve basis - availability varies. Please return items promptly to their stored locations when finished using so other guests may use them. ● Historic Home: This is a lovingly restored circa 1903 property—expect a blend of old-world character and modern updates. ● Parking: Free street parking is usually available throughout the East End Historic District. Availability may be limited during special events. Please note that the City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park on the street. ● Beach Access: The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches. ● Climate: Galveston is humid and coastal—central air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort. ● Pets: We allow up to 2 adult dogs for $50 per night (no puppies). We don't accept any other animal type. Please be good pet parents and clean up after your pet. Any damage or waste left by your pet will result in an extra charge of $125 (minimum). ● Safety Features: Equipped with smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit. ● Food and beverages staged in some photos for inspiration only – not provided during your stay.
