Our four bedroom home was completely renovated in 2022 and is located a quick walk to the Seawall and less than one mile from the Strand and all of the cruise terminals. Street parking for two cars is available in front of our house for you to use while you are staying with us. \*INSIDE THE FLEUR DE LIS\* Upon arrival, everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay will be located inside. Wonderful luxury property has modern open space living with room for everyone to stay comfortably. Two bedrooms with a KING bed in each, one bedroom with two antique four poster QUEEN beds, and one bedroom with one antique QUEEN bed (includes an adjustable frame for comfort) and a custom built platform with two SINGLE beds for children. Everyone has their own comfy bed and separate space at this very large premier property! The house has been carefully updated with modern luxuries while preserving history and old-world charm. \*NO NEED TO EAT OUT EVERY MEAL\* Stock the fridge and make yourselves at home! With a gas grille on the back patio and our fully outfitted kitchen, meal times will be a breeze. And for those evenings you want to stay in there are two separate Living spaces. From the history to the charm this place has it all. The owners are great and will help you in any way. Mrs. Sondra checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. My girlfriend has a hard time sleeping without a fan so Mrs. Sondra had one waiting for us upon arrival. If anyone needs a great place to stay while visiting Galveston this is the place. The property was nicely updated but still had that Victorian charm I was looking for. Sondra did a wonderful job of making the home welcoming and luxurious at the same time. My teenage daughter said she felt like a princess while staying there. I loved the furniture and the linens. Sondra even had some beach supplies and toys available for us to borrow and to keep the kids entertained. Communication with Sondra was easy since she was friendly and close by, and she anticipated all our needs. I would absolutely stay here again! ##### Allison L V. The house itself is nestled in a full neighborhood of Victorian homes that all look to have been updated & maintained beautifully. The interior of the house is amazing. You just don’t see these types of houses these days - so it was wonderful to stay in. The was so much space and the basement being re-done essentially doubles the footprint. Great for families down for a weekend or a week to enjoy the island. And Sondra is a gracious host. Will definitely be back again.. ##### Edley F. We made a quick trip to Galveston for my nephew's wedding and chose this house because of its location to the cruise terminals. I cannot say enough about how awesome this house was. We fell in love with this house as soon as we walked in. The house has this historical charm to it that you just do not see anymore. The owners have done an incredible job bringing this house back to its glory days with not only the architectural details but also the furnishings. The owners were so friendly and helpful with any questions or needs we had. My only regret is that we were so busy with the wedding we did not get to enjoy the house as much as I would have liked. We will definitely be back (hopefully during the next historical homes tour) and have already told others about this house. We highly recommend this place for your next visit. Oh, and this house is within walking distance to just about everything... beach, shopping, great places to eat... everything! ##### Kathleen B. I think I spent the first hour just looking at every detail. The original owner was also from Louisiana so I thought that was very unique. The location of the home was perfect, putting us close to all attractions including Schlitterbahn. I don’t know that I would bring young toddlers because of the antiques but that is my opinion. I was a little nervous with my two boys hoping they wouldn’t break anything. The house is so spacious and the patio was nice for having an evening drink. Be sure to check the “extra guest charge”, as I never received an explanation to why I was charged but maybe that was a VRBO issue. The house is stunning!
