Thanks to its strategic position, the use of the machine is not necessary. The penthouse is in fact very close to the beaches of Gallipoli, easily reachable on foot, as well as to all services (restaurant, bar, lounge bar, supermarket..etc.). An elevator (for the exclusive use of the tenants who will be staying) allows access directly inside the living room (by inserting a special private key). Externally the penthouse has a wonderful 250 m2 equipped terrace, organized on two levels, partly also covered, where you can relax and have lunch / dinner with an enchanting sea view, access to the solarium of exclusive relevance, with a magnificent and suggestive view over the whole city of Gallipoli. Internally the penthouse is developed on two levels; the fourth floor is composed of: \- entrance; \- living room with a double sofa bed, air conditioner, TV and DVD player; \- kitchen dining area; \- bedroom with double bed and single bed with sea view and equipped with TV, air conditioner and hi-fi stereo; \- double bedroom with sea view window, air conditioner and TV; \- complete bathroom with shower box. The apartment is large with plenty of seating outside. We feel you really need a car if you go in September, as we did, as there is no public transport. Gallipoli town is beautiful with lots of shops and many good restaurants. It is about a 25 to 45 minute walk into the town dependent on your age and mobility and a “Tuk Tuk” ride home. A great base if you intend to be exploring the wider area in your own transport. In terms of the accomodation, all communication with the owner was first class and he was extremely accommodating in terms of our arrival and check out times. The photographs on the website, we feel, are not a true representation of the accomodation. The website makes the flat look very glamorous and up market however, in reality, whilst it more than met our needs, it's quite dated inside. The maon bathroom needs updated.There is lots of outside space which is a bonus. Accessibility to the upstairs bedroom is not ideal. The spiral staircase, whilst nice in appearance, is fairly narrow and difficult to negotiate. There is an external staircase which can be used to access the top floor bedroom, however this isn't entirely convenient. Plenty free and easy parking. Wir sind oft abends zu Fuß in die City spaziert und haben die lebendige Atmosphäre genossen. Ein bewirtschafteter Strand ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar, besser fährt man aber etwas weiter mit dem Mietwagen und nutzt die freien Strandabschnitte, die auch ruhiger sind. Im Apartement findet sich alles, was man braucht, auch fürs eigene Kochen und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Die Klimaanlage kühlt die Wohnung fix runter, wenn nötig. Vincenzo war bei der Anreise sehr hilfreich und engagiert. Vielen Dank! Auch der Checkout gestaltete sich einfach. La casa era esattamente come descritta: pulita, ben attrezzata e in una posizione perfetta. La comunicazione con l’host è stata semplice e cordiale. Das zweistöckige Penthouse besticht durch die sehr großen Terassen und den Meerblick. Die Schlaf-und Badezimmer sind toll und ganz neu gestaltet. Hij bood direct zijn hulp aan. Toen we uiteindelijk arriveerden kregen we een uitgebreide rondleiding en de sleutels. We hadden een week met mooi weer (oktober) dus 's morgens op het dakterras in de zon genieten van een kopje koffie en het uitzicht over Gallipoli en de zee. Het appartement ligt tussen het centrum en natuurpark (met leuke strandjes) van Gallipoli in. Parkeren in de straat is geen enkel probleem, we hadden de garage niet nodig. We vertrokken vroeg om onze vlucht te halen, maar voor Vincenzo was dit geen enkel probleem en stond precies op tijd voor de deur om de sleutels weer in ontvangst te nemen. We hebben een week heerlijk genoten, zowel van het penthouse als de regio Salento! ##### Patrick v. Un accueil remarquable. Vincenzo est très réactif et très sympa! Localisation au calme avec parking facile tout en étage proche de la plage et des commodités.
