Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, friendly and effective staff. The location just outside Galle Fort is perfect, a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride up the hill and the peace and sanctuary of historic Sun House.
Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely amazing one night for the last night in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. The staff and the manager were absolutely brilliant and looked after us so well. I have to compliment the chef too, we had dinner there and the prawns were some of the best we’ve had. Such a gorgeous end to our trip. Thanks Taru villas!

Mohan, the manager was extremely accommodating making gorgeous breakfasts and real cinnamon tea. The homestay is a really nice place to stay, in a quiet location but easily accessible to walk to the Fort and other local attractions. Tuk Tuks are made available with local drivers at a reasonable price to access the beach areas etc. This is the place to stay on anyone's plans visiting Sri Lanka. Finally many thanks to Harsha for his Hospitality.

Huge characterful and comfortable room in the converted old building.
Very well located in the Fort area.
Staff and service were very good.
Nice bar area and cocktail menu. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast (which was OK but basic).
In the library suite there is a huge bathtub (advised on arrival beyond the capability of hot water supply to fill) as well as a good shower.
There is a slight privacy issue with this suite, seating in the restaurant area is the other side of the...

The hotel was absolutely excellent, very comfortable, lovely staff, amazing breakfast and a beautiful pool area. It’s slightly out of town but a short tuk tuk ride away from the main sights and worth it for the historic building and setting.

Snooze Station was simply the best accommodation I stayed at in Sri Lanka (from a whole mix of hostels, homestays, and hotels). It's brand new, spotlessly clean, and provides hotel standard services despite being a hostel - such as a welcome drink, a cold flannel on arrival, towels on the beds, a tea and coffee area, etc. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The location is perfect for travellers - it is right by both the train and bus stations, and it's only a pretty...

We loved Dream Villa!
It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location!
The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c.
Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!
