What a fantastic place to stay! It was just perfect! We are already planning to come back and stay. Creekwood area was beautiful !! The condo was beautifully decorated, beds were great and kitchen facilities were perfect! Wonderful area outside to sit. We wanted to stay for a longer period of time! Thank you!

Only my 2nd time in Galena, both times have stayed in Galena Territory. Once in the winter, once in the summer. Indoor and outdoor pools are great, I found pool rules to be very lax, which I enjoyed. Appreciated having laundry soap provided. And was fun watching the golfers to pass the time on the patio.

Impressions of Galena Territory
The setting is absolutely beautiful, as well as very peaceful and quiet. The property has a nice layout and furnishings and was clean and well maintained. We wish we had been informed that the guest passes were in a box in the unit, as we didn't find them until the second day just before we thought we had to pick them up at the Owners Club. There was a little glitch re dishwasher soap that the manager took care of very promptly.

Here is the info on the cards - “Proximity cards are located inside of our properties for our guests use during their stay with us. Poor Communication
I arranged for a weekend stay for my daughters and their children. We live over 2 hours away and attempting to communicate with Meghan Anderson was less than ideal. I spoke with her 4 weeks prior asking for possible early check in. She told me to reach out day prior or morning of. She was less than helpful, very delayed in responses and basically kept repeating "can't guarantee early check-in". I never asked for a guarantee I simply asked if it was possible. I was trying to arrange a leave time based on her response. It took her 19 hours after a "Let me see" response to text me back to state she was still waiting on an answer. If she simply would have said "no" then at least we would no on our end and can make travel plans accordingly. The condo floor was filthy, the table was tacky and unclean, the dishes and pots/pans needed to be cleaned before using and the condo had a very strong odor that remained on our clothing and children's blankets when we returned home. Upon initial contact with Meghan I had to go through a barrage of questions regarding my daughters ages and their daughters ages concerned a party at the residence could ensue based on their ages??? My daughters are all adults and their daughters are 6 yeas and younger. I had to assure her there would be no risk of a party at the rental. Very disappointed!

Perfect for Girls’ Weekend
My SIL and I took my MIL to Galena for her birthday weekend and this was the coziest little spot for the 3 of us! Secluded enough to make you feel like you’re on vacation, but close enough to the downtown area to provide plenty of things to keep you busy. The fireplace was fantastic and selection of games and movies kept us well entertained while we relaxed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay and was very clean …we took our kids to Chestnut Mountain to snowboard and it was close enough yet far enough away from all the downtown area..check in was easy and we had no issues or problems at all ..would definitely stay there again ..

Great place for a getaway
My husband and 2 boys stayed in this unit over winter break while skiing at Chestnut Mountain and Sundown. There was plenty of space for us. There was no need to contact anyone as everything was as described in the check in directions sent via email. Would definitely stay here again!

2BR Townhouse was perfect for 3 generations o women getting away for a few days.
Cute woodsy feel for a nice getaway. Nice quiet location off the beaten path. We mostly ate out in town, however looks like the kitchen is stocked quite well. Would recommend!

Had some issue getting in, was sent the wrong code, but worked the property manager and resolved it eventually. Appreciated the cleanliness of the home. Wish we could have used the grill, but I could not turn on the propane tank. Too tight to turn on. Beautiful home and very peaceful, enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed our stay in Galena. The weather was unpleasant so we didn't get outside to enjoy the patio at the condo or the grounds at the Territories. The accommodations were mostly comfortable; 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa (sleeper sofa was uncomfortable). We had a toilet flapper break while staying at the condo. I called the management company and it was quickly fixed while we were out enjoying the shops of Galena. Kudos to the management company for their quick attention to the break. The floor plan was good for us. The two bedrooms were located on separate levels and each had its own bath. I would recommend this property to others.

Upon arrival found the screen door/storm door wide open... discovered the reason was because the door wouldn’t latch. Next morning the shower valve on the bathtub spout fell apart in our hands, we called maintenance and after about an hour we were notified that they would send someone out for repair. Their repairman showed up checked out the shower and went to get parts to repair it... but came back shortly but didn’t have the correct parts, so he had to make a trip out of town to get the correct parts. Good news was that the shower as all fixed when we came back from our first shopping trip in downtown Galena. The next issue came when I went to slide open the window in the upstairs bedroom, it looked like it had not been opened for years, the sills and window tracks were filled with dirt... now I’m not talking about a little dust, I’m talking enough dirt to plant your tomatoes in... plus cobwebs, dead bugs, you name it it was in there. The next morning the other couple that was staying with us mentioned that they too had opened the window in their bedroom and were greeted by the same filth we had encountered. I sent an email to the management company and asked when the last time that the owner had checked on the unit, and was told that the owner had just been there and did an inventory and checked the property. The management company told me that the property get a “deep cleaning” a couple times a year. Believe me... this place has been neglected for a couple of years. Another negative, there as not a piece of tin foil, Saran Wrap, wax paper or baggies to be found in the kitchen.. almost a necessity if you plan on making anything in a kitchen. Ok.. enough negativity, it was a cute little condo, one bedroom up and one bedroom downstairs, plenty of privacy for 2 couples, a great location, it’s at the end of a cul-de-sac, very quiet secluded area. If someone goes in there and “deep cleans” the place, and fixes the front door, I’d stay there again.

This guest was not happy from the initial check in (not sure why) but glad they would stay again? We were never told about the front door and currently there is no issue with it. The owner was just there, cleaned and updated the unit. As soon as we heard of the small plumbing issue we had someone over to fix it and all was good, guest did not mention any other issues to us while there. They did email their displeasure with the window area. We explained Galena was very hot this summer and most windows were not been opened until recently, we finally got a cool spell and this guest was very put off that the inside track of the window was dirty. It's on our list to be cleaned but should not really impact your stay. Our home has Spring and Fall deep cleanings in addition to be being professionally cleaned between each stay. Our homes are all very well maintained and we will respond to any feedback or issue before, during or after you stay. Please read all of your check in details because we specifically say we do not provide any saran wrap, etc and encourage you to bring what you might want or need. We also do not provide toiletries but we do provide propane, linens, paper products and so much more. You'll enjoy your stay at Creekwood it's a nice villa in a great location!

Perfect for our friends weekend!
This place was just what we were looking for. Reconnecting with our good friends! Sat out on the deck, cooked a meal on the grill and visited. Quiet, clean and perfect for 2 couples. Separate bedrooms with bathrooms. Close to golfing, shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for two couples to stay. We could golf in the Territories and shop in Galena. Loved that it was on a quiet cul-de-sac. Next time we visit Galena, we will take better advantage of all that the territories have to offer!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, had comfy beds and was well stocked. Galena is a very nice place to visit. We ate at Durty Gurts, The Victory Cafe and Fried Green Tomatoes and all of them were excellent.

Our stay was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The living area was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. WIFI was good and the owner did have a stock of DVD movies to watch. The only concerns we had were the deck chair cushions were in poor shape and the deck needed power washing. Our stay was in April so those issues may be taken care of prior to the busy season. Also, the pillows were uncomfortable and needed replaced. Overall our stay was very good.

We intended on having a nice quiet girls weekend and thats exactly what we got. No disturbances or interruptions. The townhouse was very remote but close to town and right on the golfcourse. Not sure if we would’ve has the same experience if it were summer time.
