This is a great location with an elevator for those with larger suitcases headed on a cruise. The cruise port is an easy walk. Wonderful rooms and great breakfast.

I tried to book the Ibis hotel but it was sold out. This hotel was my second choice and turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Great location, sitting on a hill with beautiful view of Coimbra, nice room and beds, and a great complementary buffet breakfast. Truly a gem.

"Beautiful location just a couple minutes walk to Castelo de Marvão. Our room was small but cosy and comfortable, and being within the walled village, it was quiet at night after the village emptied.
