Flat with good natural light, functional, with a contemporary and artistic decoration, perfect for a business or leisure travel context. It offers all the comfort and convenience for a pleasant stay, providing a living area, television with cable channels, sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and access to a small patio. Maximum capacity for 4 persons. Wi-Fi available in all areas. Building without private parking. The access to this flat can be done through a lift. AREA The building has a common entrance to all the properties and is located in Rua da Carreira, one of the main arteries of Funchal. From this property you will be able to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Municipal Garden, Marina of Funchal and Municipal Theatre. In the city centre there is plenty of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your holidays: cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island! GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. Restaurants galore, grocery stores, marina and all walking. Don’t get a car there is nowhere to park. You don’t need a car full time and if you want one for a day or two there are rentals everywhere. If you’re sensitive to noise it’s not the place for you (AA 1). It’s right on the street and you can listen to peoples conversations. The apartment itself is spectacular with high ceiling and lots of character. Occasionally there is a bad smell in the lobby because that’s were the garbage room is. Ask the great people at An Island Apart about other apartments in the building that are less noisy.Travel safe. ##### John P.
