Totally refurbished to welcome you, its entire space was designed for your comfort and well-being. The modern and careful decoration is in tune with the historical streets that surround this city building. With a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a generous open space, this apartment is perfect to discover the charms of Funchal. The house is fully equipped and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA This house is located in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. At 15 minutes walking distance from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore on foot the several touristic points of our beautiful city (e.g. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Sé Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...) TRANSPORTATION With a bus stop in the vicinity (five minutes away), transport will not be a problem for our guests. For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about seven minutes from the house, although the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport! GUESTS ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always available to help or answer questions. Please contact us via cell phone numbers or email. We will do our best to respond to all requests. OTHER REMARKS \-According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card). \-Check-in must be scheduled in advance. Shares good facilities and easy check-in/out is a positive feature. The least favourable part was the noise level late at night when restaurants close and have to drag tables/ chairs around to secure premises. Apartment 1a had no balcony but was spacious even though overlooked by offices, but bright and airy, nonetheless. Only comment is that the bathroom floor gets really wet after every shower. Although the room borders a busy street, it is really quiet during the night, because the bedroom is at the back of the apartment.
