This property offers bright, functional spaces and a modern decoration. It includes free Wi-Fi access, a living area, sofa bed, a TV with cable channels, air conditioning, a well-equipped open-space kitchen with a dining area, a bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower cabin. Apartment in a building with stairs and common entrance to all properties, located in Rua da Queimada de Cima, one of the arteries near the Cathedral of Funchal. The building also features a communal terrace, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the view over the city. No private parking available. AREA Building located in the city center of Funchal. From this building, you can get to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, shopping centers, supermarkets, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Municipal Garden, Funchal Marina and Municipal Theater. In the city center there is a lot of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your vacations: cultural activities, radical activities, nature activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island! GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. Bad points nowhere suitable to store clothes, some hangers but no drawers for sweaters T-shirts, underwear et cetera. No chair in the bedroom to put clothes to takeoff prior to bed, either put them back in the cupboard in the corner of the room with clean clothes or throw them on the floor. Kitchen cupboards full of equipment nowhere to store food had to put pans and toaster on floor in living room to make space for food items. Dining table barely adequate for two people just a bistro table. Sofa uncomfortable tended to allow you to slide to the floor as you sat there. No flat surfaces in the apartment to put things on just the tiny dining table and an even smaller coffee table so if you want to put cameras, documents, maps brochures et cetera down anywhere it was on the chairs are on the floor and if you wanted to write or set your laptop up it was on your knees or on the bistro table.
